Forget the fact that they're on wets, just imagine the feeling going through both of these guys, father and son driving side by side in F1 cars. Must've been a great feeling
it had just rained before this and the track was still a bit damp that is why they used wets

Bobo24 If that was the reason they would only have used Inter's if even that, the reason is because they are not in race pace and wet tires heat up fast

Because they always use those for demo's. Probably they have a fixed amount of tyeres they get from pirrelli

+guat I heard the dutch royal family - Heineken and shell will foot the bill....just conjecture though, no sources, but makes sense.. Do you think they might ruin the flow of the track with an update? Id hate to see this one get chopped up. Red Bull ring update was pretty good and I thought they improved the last two corners over the original... What do you think?

The Minardi is faster on the straight than the Toro Rosso. F1 is going backwards.
The V6 Turbo's are just as fast, the V8's are slower than the V10's however.
And the Minardi have 6 gears ^^

Julian Duepre nope if there was a modern build F1 V10 engine it would be WAY more powerful. but comparing 2018 V6 to 2004 V10 then yeah but V10 will have better rawpower.

Full wets ? , because during that time of the day rain came on and off .. so think they went for safety .. but it was Great to see them both driving at the same time in a F1 .. btw the Minardi has more power but less breaks ..good to see on the first straight when they gave all power ;)

Why is the sense of speed here so much better than now on tv or youtube videos of recent F1 races?
Cause there were no dynamic shots (as in camera panning or on a crane, of course the cams on the cars are moving but the cars they're on aren't moving around the shot), no high camera angles, no zoom outs, no birds eye view.
Could be something else but I think that's mainly it
Why is the Minardi's sound so low? Shouldn't it be high pitched because of the V10 engine?
A privateer now owns the car now. It is far from race specs like it used to be for better reliability. The RPM's have been cut seems like
the engine might have been "cut down" to a half of the revs, so it could run "smoother" despise the fact that its old

I know Jos is a bit tough on his son Max. But this is a nice bonding between father and son. A beautiful moment when Jos was leading, as shows the respect of the son to his father, then later on Max overtakes him, that shows that he is the new successor.

I was standing on one of those dunes still have pics of it, was pretty dope to see them two messing about. Not knowing back then what Max would come to achieve in the sport.
Poor old Jos, he might have been just as fast driver as Max is had he gotten as good car back then. He never really got a change to prove himself, but he did show talent on his first Formula 1 test - every Formula 1 team expect Williams and Ferrari contacted Verstappen after the test.
Jos drove in the same car as Schumacher and Schumacher became WC with the same car.
