In RE6 You are can't parry instead you can initiate Counter attack which is more effective against enemies. RE6 are Using Stamina as their balance due to combat mechanic. you dont need to Stun the enemies to launch melee attack instead you can do it manually but it cost some energy. Do not forget that the game also has Combat roll, duck and dying state. So in conclusion RE6 six is having the best combat mechanicn compared to other RE

While I do love RE6, this is quite misleading because that looks like RE4 remake on low settings on PC. It's going to favor performance over graphical quality. None the less, RE5 and RE6 still have amazing graphics that still hold up.

Not a fair comparison. Re4r in low settings and no artificial lighting scenario like the flames in re6. There's a huge development leap within these generations besides looking good from far away.

Remember that Leon is still traumatized in RE4 because of everything that happened in RE2 and post RE2, his intro said it all and explained better than the original RE4. I’d assume by the time in RE6, he finally overcame that trauma. Thats why Leon’s face doesnt look like that in RE6, he finally got use to it. Edit: Its also evidenced if you check Leon’s face in RE2 remake. He looks as good as RE6, because he’s not traumatized.

One of my complaints on r4r is the way Leon aims, its like it can do it straight specialy with enemies in close range And the lack of default lasser, only being for the handgun :(
I loved the mechanics of RE6, such as diving, rolling, etc. Combat was also fun, guns were punchy. Like MGSV did. But there were TOO many Cutscenes, QTEs, etc. If the game just focused on Gameplay and some story, without constantly mashing buttons and having like 5 campaigns, it would be better. Just focus on two like RE2 did. Also REmake4 doesn't look that way. Here it's too desaturated and soft. It's full rich of colors and HDR is great.

What's wrong with Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed Valhalla and their 200 hour Campaign + DLCs? Don't you want to do stuff over and over again to get more gameplay for your money? How dare they make linear games that takes 6-8 hours and sell them for 60€ that are infinitely more replayable than a + 300 hour game that feels like a chore? Every game should have 10 campaigns out of order, and all of them should be open world for maximum freedom with 70% of them being QTEs and Cutscenes. This is where the C-virus is unleashed by Carla who has history with Simmons and Ada which is explained in Leon's campaign half a year later. All the campaigns then converge in China with their own motivations while Ada is working in the background to clear her name all along. You could argue that the premise of how all of this started over simping is preposterous (even though people apparently love how cheesy RE is?) . But the timeline itself is fine. I didn't say anything bad about re4 but there's nothing wrong with re6. It's a fact that you get more replayability out of re6. The qtes and unskippable cutscenes are really annoying I don't disagree. But when the biggest problem of a game is that it doesn't let you play enough, I'd say they did something right at least. Same thing with re3 (as well as the atrocious amount of cut content but that's an aside). If you don't like playing it then that's a different issue.

You should've used the polygon based hair instead of the strand based hair in RE4. Polygon based hair actually looks way better than the strand in RE4 remake. It moves better and reflects light more accurately, also turn-off chromatic aberration as it makes the textures appear blurry

Remember that Leon is still traumatized in RE4 because of everything that happened in RE2 and post RE2, his intro said it all and explained better than the original RE4.
I’d assume by the time in RE6, he finally overcame that trauma. Thats why Leon’s face doesnt look like that in RE6, he finally got use to it.
Edit: Its also evidenced if you check Leon’s face in RE2 remake. He looks as good as RE6, because he’s not traumatized.

@@rosaline7549 Exactly. RE engine isnt bad, but my god does MT Framework kills it. RE5 and RE6 look great even today and in some aspects even better. Specially when it comes to Character models.

I loved the mechanics of RE6, such as diving, rolling, etc. Combat was also fun, guns were punchy. Like MGSV did. But there were TOO many Cutscenes, QTEs, etc. If the game just focused on Gameplay and some story, without constantly mashing buttons and having like 5 campaigns, it would be better. Just focus on two like RE2 did. Also REmake4 doesn't look that way. Here it's too desaturated and soft. It's full rich of colors and HDR is great.

How dare they make linear games that takes 6-8 hours and sell them for 60€ that are infinitely more replayable than a + 300 hour game that feels like a chore?
Every game should have 10 campaigns out of order, and all of them should be open world for maximum freedom with 70% of them being QTEs and Cutscenes.
Remember, the more hours you get from a game, the better!
@@StabVariation There's nothing inconsistent about it. There's a civil war in Edonia where Jake and Chris's story begin. This is where the C-virus is unleashed by Carla who has history with Simmons and Ada which is explained in Leon's campaign half a year later. All the campaigns then converge in China with their own motivations while Ada is working in the background to clear her name all along.
You could argue that the premise of how all of this started over simping is preposterous (even though people apparently love how cheesy RE is?) . But the timeline itself is fine.
I didn't say anything bad about re4 but there's nothing wrong with re6. It's a fact that you get more replayability out of re6.
The qtes and unskippable cutscenes are really annoying I don't disagree. But when the biggest problem of a game is that it doesn't let you play enough, I'd say they did something right at least. Same thing with re3 (as well as the atrocious amount of cut content but that's an aside).
If you don't like playing it then that's a different issue.
it has 3 campaigns, everything else is a post launch dlc, its just a bad game thats it.

You should've used the polygon based hair instead of the strand based hair in RE4. Polygon based hair actually looks way better than the strand in RE4 remake. It moves better and reflects light more accurately, also turn-off chromatic aberration as it makes the textures appear blurry
Despite everything I still enjoyed RE6 it was a lot of fun plus playing online with people.
I kinda miss RE6, might need to play it again after finishing RE4
