To be honest it wasn't that bad re6, i think it was panned but the reason it was disliked so much is because it was missing the horror element after a chapter, which of course re without horror anyone would be confused at, the problem was that panned it is that people never really stuck around for the full extent, like co-op, playing as the enemy, the movesets of each character and how their melee attacks from stuns, parrys and such worked, its a shame really.
My sister and I too lol. She even pointed out that at the end of Leon's campaign, the only reason their escape helicopter isn't crashing is because Helena is the one driving it.
Honestly i enjoyed re6 it wasn't re4 type fun but it had its moments. Not only that, you could play multiple characters and the coop was a nice addition to the overall experience.
personally, i feel like this game is more fun than the traditional slow pace RE games like RE2 remake, though I still love RE2 remake don't get me wrong.
19:03 to be fair, there CAN be survivors in that fight and you get an achievement for it... so at least a couple of them do survive meeting you guys. "Well I am completely out of ammo" -famous last words. And dang, 3 full leon chapters in one episode.
@@igordomingos8426 more so an achievement when you save just about all of them. But guides and all just says at least two female survivors so i suppose it does not matter who as long as they don't have dicks
Fun thing I remember about 6, at the start, if Helena is tackled by the zombie in the elevator without any ammo, her gun will still magically fire while the slide stays back
I let re4, 5, and 6 be an example to try out a game for myself rather than let public opinion keep me from them and i found them even more enjoyable because of it. I went in expecting ashley to be annoying but she was very manageable.
yeah and it doesnt go out of character too cause ashley is some college girl and a daughter of a president so its normal for someone like her to be a bit of a deadweight
I played re4 as a kid and when people started saying Ashley was annoying I was like wtf? Did you play the game? She 100% caused a couple deaths for me my first time through but once you learn to abuse the wait and follow me commands she's way easier to deal with. Especially since you can tell her to hide in literal trash cans and shit in some areas.
RE6 tried to hard to become everything like each campaign have different genre. Leon = Horror Chris = Action shooter Jake = hack and slash Ada = Stealth
Nah. It was so fun. I LOVE how each campaign is different, they have their own guns, each character has their own unique weapon that only they can use, each campaign has their own levels and they are all interconnected and tie the story up. The gameplay is fkn amazing. My favorite campaigns remain Leon because it's all about actual zombies that rot away in awesome fashion when you kill them, also it has some cool levels with old school themes. Jake's camping is awesome as well because of his melee "weapon", it's like playing Wesker. But i also liked Chris's campaign as it was all about action and shooting, especially the later parts at night, the snake, the tanker with whoever plays piers getting to use the infected lighting arm... The Ada campaign was the weakest and shortest. Also it wasn't made to be played in coop so the 2nd character just teleports around all the time and isn't present in the story. Love how each campaign is its own game the length of an actual re game. Each campaign if the main 3 is as long as re7 and Re8. But also you get A FUCKTON of bonus content. If they had made this game right now, each campaign would be a separate game and the bonus content would be DLC. Instead Re6 is 3 games in 1, an extra dlc campaign that's not dlc, like 5 multiplayer game modes that are really cool, especially the invasions like it's dark souls, where you get to invade people as a zombie. Then an AWESOME mercenaries mode with so many characters and each character having at least 2 extra unique costumes that have their own loadouts. And it has like 8 different maps. It's hands down the biggest resident evil game and hands down the most FUN. The gameplay is up there with games like vanquish or doom for me. It's like you are John wick doing so much cool shit. Worst part is that because the game was SOOO goddamn MASSIVE, they deemed it a failure when it sold 3 times more copies than re7 at launch, while re7 was deemed a massive success. To this day people think Re6 was a huge failure but it sold more than 12 million copies. People were so unfair to this game. It's like God hand. And there's no other games like Re6. None. Oh but rehashed shit like re7 or Re8 is good, 5 hour long campaigns with barely any extra bonus content is good. Having a clichè americanized story is good. Becoming a first person game and dumbing down gameplay to the old and tired run away most of the time but shoot some enemies when you have a gun, cry of fear style of gameplay, is good. And Re8 being just like Re6 but with basic bitch gameplay cuz it's first person, is good. Re7 and Re8 didn't go "back to it roots", they just dumbed down the gameplay to where all you can do is block and shoot.
@@mrgrimm6794 i think most people are like us, it's just that it's cool to hate on Re6. It was during a time when action games were looked down upon and everything had to be more realistic, slower and be like a movie. Just a few years later the tide turned around 180 degrees and pretty good games like the order 1886 got shat on for the exact OPPOSITE reasons. So stupid...Re6 is one of those really good games that didn't make it because of the times. Just like hyper scape or lawbreakers (hyper scape came out at the exact moment people were done with battle royale games...and then got back right back in when it died. Also it should have been a global launch on all platforms day 1, instead of focusing on PC COMPLETELY, then on following every whim of the twitch streamers. Lawbreakers should have been released in 2020 right after doom eternal). It's so sad when amazing action games more focused on skill and freedom of movement get shafted so hard. Lo and behold, overwatch 2 is getting the lawbreakers treatment right now. And people can't wait for warzone 2 now, after shitting on Battle royale games like hyper scape, when hyper scape was the most unique, most fun and less about randomness, more about pure skill than of all the battle royale games. Casual gamers are so fkn fickle. Changing their minds on a whim, on a yearly basis. Maybe that's why Re8 was a complete actionfest that was nothing like resident evil 7 or even re as a whole, with fkn stupid vampires, magneto, big boobs giant dragon woman, fishmen, angel tree fungi lady, freaking possessed puppets... On a side note, can't fkn wait for RE4. A real re game like re2 and re3 remake, instead of whatever the fuck re7 and Re8 were. And by the looks of it, re9 will be NOTHING like re7 and Re8, bringing back 3rd person and going away with the lame ass Ethan winters story.
I really love this game. I played the whole thing in one sitting with my best friend on split screen. Honestly one of the most fun i've had with a RE game.
I honestly love this game. Is it scary? No. Does it make an logical sense? Nope. But Is it an over the top, balls to the wall insanely fun game? Well I think so. To me this game is what "Metal Gear Rising" is to that series. An over the top action game that is mainly trying to keep your heart pounding from the action and combat rather then from the tension that most tend to associate with the series.
I liked resident evil 6. It was a bit of a nostalgic feel getting older characters together. It’s not my favorite one in the franchise but I didn’t mind it.
I'm playing the game for the first time, also in co-op. I'm constantly dying with laughter at the insanity of it all. It's absolutely one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.
Same experience, it's so over the top that it gets predictable. My buddy was constantly screaming he was joking when he called exactly what happened next
I honestly wish we could get more action oriented “zombie” games like this nowadays. It seems like everyone tries making survival games nowadays, which I love, but this was absolutely a blast
Resident evil six is great! Only if you have friends, and only if you don’t take it seriously, kinda like 5, which is too many caveats to make it a truly great game.
I remember pre-ordering this game years ago. I was in my first year of college. Wow time flies. Anyway I had a blast with this game! My favorite character is Chris Redfield because he can pick up enemies and throw them across the room lol 😆. I also like the fact that you can aim and then dodge roll. In my opinion this game had the best combat in the series.
The controls on this game were probably some of the smoothest I have ever had the pleasure of playing with. I remember having a blast mowing down zombies and monsters alike in the mercenaries mode with Leon's dual wielding pistols and I also love the fact that the game allowed you to switch stances instantly at the press of a button to either perform trick shots or just for the sake of having a better experience if you are a lefty. Also once you get the hang of Jake and his h2h he is also super fun (and kinda op). I really wish somebody took this controls and gaming mechanics and applied them to a better 3rd person shooter that follows one consistent style of campaign (and with less quick time events during their cinematics too). It's funny because the controls allow for a super dynamic and fun playstyle but somehow the game just didn't manage to exploit it with its campaigns or even its multi-player although it totally could have.
@@A0142-m1j YES! That is a perfect description of the gameplay. It was really smooth. However I did notice that some people who played this game on the PC had trouble with the QTEs here and there. (years ago I saw the TH-camr Jesse Cox have a problem with it). But aside from that it is really fun to use. The gameplay from four and five was a little bit stiff but the sixth game completely improved it. Honestly I prefer the RE6 play-style instead of the first person view from the seventh and eighth game. I really hope some future games will use the RE6 gameplay format(with less cut scene QTEs).
i liked the part where it had zombies, then proceeded to cry internally when it turned into grasshoppers with guns then cried outwardly when it became jurassic park
RE6 is certainly a flawed game but its definitely nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be. The problem with RE6 is that it doesn't have a clear focus on the type of game it wanted to be and I think at that point fans were frustrated that Resident Evil in general kind of lost its scare factor and wasn't really a survival horror like it use to be. RE6 definitely could have been much better but I do think it has some really great moments in it and does have some objectively good qualities if people can look past its shortcomings.
absolutely agree. after the re4 arcade shooter with blingy drops and merchants I never got the hipocrisy of the re community towards 6. for a fan of the classics, 4-6 literally fall in the same category. they all were arcade, they all were no horror (salazar and saddler and their gang are literal clowns, taking away any horror from the game), THEY ALL abused QTE. You can't hate re6 if you don't hate re4.
Yeah the multiplayer was absolutely amazing for it’s time. Being on a PS3, the days of Black Ops 2, we had a lot of copy paste multiplayer games. Button mashing and skill checks were your average gameplay for Capcom, this was your regular standard back then for games. RE6 had so many campaigns for co-op, I enjoyed picking up the game again some years back on PS4 and playing through with my buddy. The campaign wasn’t meant for Co-op or PC, if you played on Playstation the multiplayer is STILL alive
I played RE6 with my cousin all the way through, it was loads of fun. I love how they only played through the earliest part, and dont go to Jake/Sherry or Chris/BSAA guy i forgot. They went through arguably the best part, and didnt get to the weird melee stuff of Jake or the straight up 3rd person shooting of Chris lol
@@sykes13ify ok let's be real, when you're done making the storyline your bitch in most recent resident evils you will always, without fail, end up spending more time than you ever thought you would on Mercenaries. There isn't another resident evil that allows movement options like 6 ... And out of every Mercenaries mode, I've never had more intense sessions than 6. Yeah they could have done certain things better but these characters aren't victims anymore.... They're done with umbrellas shit and are ready to throw down!
It has some of the best combat mechanics in an action game I’ve played. At least it’s actually fun to play too unlike the latest one, which is all pretty graphics but generally dull. RE7 was good though.
I genuinely love this game. My best friend and I have played it for years and probably have almost a thousand hours on it. Its satisfying dumb fun that can be enjoyed with friends and is just a blast overall. We played it split screen many years ago on Ps3 and after we grew up a bit and got reminded of the game we both got it on PS4 for online co-op and have come back to it many times since
@@michska53 the game 4 campaing system makes it take too long to finish, but i do agree it wont take thousand hours, when i was a kid i finished it and re played it like 3 times and had only 500 hours
I love RE6 mainly because it can be played coop/splitscreen back in the days, which are quite rare for 2013 games and up for a non racing game splitscreen
My friend wanted me to run co-op RE5 and RE6 because he knew I wasn’t a fan of them. I will say both games work BEST when played in co-op. RE6 specifically feels like they had a ton of ideas and said yes to all of them. It is interesting because each campaign feels different but the only one of the three that made me feel like I was playing an RE game was Leon’s.
RE6 did AAA the way other games of it's time tried to. Despite its bloated story, on its own it felt like a massive production and had one of the best boss fights in the franchise in HAOS. A great game despite its standing in the RE franchise.
@@SolidSnake240 That seems like a you problem. I've never once had a problem with ammo in the game and even when i run out, i find other ways to attack. Plus, you can literally buy unlimited ammo weapons so there's no excuse.
It really isn't 🤦♂️ its an unnecessarily over the top quick time event with cheesy action sprinkled in for good measure. It just comes across like it's meant to entertain 10 year olds.
I played this game by myself on easy and I loved how batshit bonkers this game is. It's like an insane fever dream where you can't believe what's happening on screen. The one thing no one really talks about is the freedom of the controls. RE6 is the first game to allow moving and shooting at the same time and they really pushed hard for those movements. If there is ever a Dino Crisis remake, I want those controls in it.
This game was awesome and I will literally fight anyone outside a Tim Horton's if they try and tell me it was a bad game I'm serious, you and me right now lets go. Your problem stopping you from enjoying it is expecting a haunted house ride like Village
I always like to put it this way: it's a pretty damn fun and good action, video game, particularly if you have someone you can play it with, but it's a bad RE game
Or really bad controls, really bad attack and damage feedback, overabundance of cutscenes and control stealing animations ( some of which get you killled), no sense of pacing at all just full non stop action the whole time, terrible character and convoluted story even by RE standards, overly long and badly structured, extremely ugly art design and muddy graphics, skill points system was awful, inventory HUD and herb system was awful I could go all day You can love the game all you want, but don't get defensive when the rest of the sane world realizes this game is fucking dogshit.
@@michaelelmes2135 no one is defensive bro I know this game is bad but idc cause I love the game and I love the re series as far as I’m concerned the original re is exactly what you describe re6 to be
@@Sniperk1ng187 after what they did to RE3R i understand clearly that these devs are not the right people that we was hope to see, I didnt pre ordered Village and i will not buy more RE Remakes or new RE made from them...
@@skyuru That was a different dev team that made Re3 Remake. The original devs from Re2 remake, 7 and 8 are doing the RE4 remake so no the devs for re6 aren't "better".
Man I can't disagree more lmao. I can stand you liking 6 but Operation Racoon City is such a terrible game. The controls are so bad, the characters are as bland as unseasoned chicken. They had an interesting idea with playing as the bad guys but flopped it so hard, plus the game is so short it was more of a DLC title but they charged full price for it.
re6 was the second game i played in the re franchise and it will always be one of my own personal favourite out of the ones i played when i was younger and now
Honestly 5 and 6 where so much fun with friends. I have a friend who I played both with and we love the RE series and it was honestly the funniest thing we've played. Constantly hearing the words 'Hurry up !!' spammed because someone got to an interactable door 5 seconds before you is engrained into my memory.
After all the weapon, enemy and movement testing I've done; I've come to find that this is more of a speed runners type of game. It's very fast paced and the most fun you'll have is playing with friends and or learning how to use/swap weapons fast while accurately taking down enemies. Plus learning how to weapon cancel, that is also fun and op especially with the snipers and pump action guns. Using the laser sight is better than the reticle, for some weird reason you get less weapon wobble and shots will always hit where the dot is no matter what whereas the reticle also has a dot but if you do testing; the bullet almost never lines up with the dot just anywhere inside the reticle circle.
Me and a friend of mine have been playing through this game and we have decided to take a year break in between because this game is just so good we need to limit ourselves.
I played it first in 2013 with just Leon's campaign. Fun fact saw world War z the day I played through the plane segement. Played Chris and Jake segment in spring of 2015 as I was graduating from high school. It only recently I played through all four campaigns. Chris campaign I decently disliked. The game play felt way too different to be a resident evil game.
@@mattwatson1974 Chris's campaign felt more like a call of duty game in 3rd person with a shitty story that is like a weird mix between flashbacks and present day and it's to confusing tbh

I actually enjoyed it because it brought different levels of horror through the stories it brought sci-fi horror, traditional horror , and survival horror and it also brought Adventure
I loved this game and no one can change my mind, I finished it with my friend and we had a blast with it, sure not the best resident evil game but it's a damn good one.
I was 13 when I first played this I had fun with it I forgot much of it over years and years But I replayed all the campaigns with my ex last year and enjoyed it a lot more. Eventually when we got used to the feel we went to the hardest settings. It would vary from manageable to borderline masochism that required tight communication and coordination. Without this game we wouldn't have resident evil 7 haha
Re6 was good and scary, it was like a total cinematic game🔥 Leon, Chris & Sherry, even Ada. all introduced us to new characters like Helena, Piers and Jake.
Just watching this it seems it would be a decent game if you drop expectations of the horror aspect. I think it probably sucks because it plays like no other and so it throws fans off. I could be wrong as I have never really played any resident evils (have seen them be played from the first one however)
Out of the modern ones 6 is easily my favorite. That part 4 remake likely won't touch this. This is basically the GTA San Andreas of modern Resident Evil.
You can basically beat the whole game with just the knife while crawling on the ground. Its freaking hilarious. ( Obviously some parts you can not beat that way but most of the game you can. )
No you cannot, But obviously youre one of those who play games on easy difficulity and then complain how easy the game is. The game has 5 different difficulities.
@@RustyIsScared Nah. You can pretty easily beat the whole game without shooting much at all even on veteran because melee is hilariously broken. Obviously certain bosses you can't get away with meleeing, but normal enemies? They don't stand a chance
Res 6 is a really good action game man can't lie lmao. People just hate it because it's not a survival horror like the others but on its own it's great. An amazing and fun coop experience too, cheesy action movie style dialogue and cool set pieces. Loved it
This game was awesome, it's really fun if you have friends to play it, solo is not that great but it's because the game was made to be a co-op experience, even with the cross play of stories in the online mode that were legendary
This is my first Re game. I was so surprised later when I saw people didn't like it. Since then I have played Re7, re8, re2 - re3 - re4 (currently playing) remake. I loved all of them. But re6 have a special place in my heart.
This game's atmosphere was scary in Leon's campaign, it was unnerving with how dark some of the areas are and also because I was use to fighting the enemies akin to Ganados and Majini and not actual zombies
I enjoyed RE6 a lot especially when played multiplayer local or splitscreen (it's harder because you share the loot) and on the hardest difficulty it rly becomes a survival game bcz the zombies u usually ignore become a real threat, dont listen to ppl who played it on ez and then complain about how its directed to action and not horror, same thing for RE operation raccoon city
I played the game back when it was just released. Liked it then. Now in 2022 I bought the game out of nostalgia and honestly fell in love with the game. Yes, RE6 wasn't survival horror but the huge amount of melee animations and the awesome interconnected plot coupled with cool looking characters made the game great. Loved Pierce the most. Side note: All the girls were hot. An obvious plus from me.
Personally it's decent but not deserving for a resident evil title. It is okay as I do enjoy the combat but however I agree with everyone since the story pacing is all of the place
I can respect what 6 tried to do, its crossover co op play was very interesting, even managed to drop in an encounter of 4 players with some buddies 😅 and the Agent Hunt modevis just too easy if you're playing as Jake with double combat gauses, you just cannot be defeated by regular enemies controlled by players
Im not a big fan of the RE franchise, especially the New ones, but RE 6 got a spot in my heart, this is the game that made me buy my first own console ever after playing this game on a friends house, ive played 2, 4, 5, 6 revelations 2, and 7, and some "spin off's" on ps2, and still none of them made me have same feelings when i played 6, next to Metro Last Light, GTA 4 and Far Cry 3, RE 6 made me feel all emotions playing. Idc this is one of my favorite games of all time and the best RE game of all time
It's action packed uike other games where you have to move slowly and carefully, but it's not really bad, it's just different from the typical RE formula
I love that you decided to play RE6, it's sooo much fun !, I think it was the best selling Capcom game at the time, I know the fans might hate it but when you play with friends it gets so much better
Love that many people have come around to appreciating it along with RE5. To me it's always been about Chris, Leon, Jill, Claire coming into their own and fighting bioterror. Not to mention some new characters were introduced along the way, like Sheva. Helena, grown up Sherry etc.
I completed RE6 for the first time recently and it’s actually decently good the story is fairly good not spectacular but decent, gameplay is fun and addicting af especially the melee combat, I could be alone here but I personally think this game has the best combat in the entire RE series I’m open to discussion abt this
I only just started playing the game I've gotten through Leon's campaign and started Chris's and I agree the game is a blast and way better than RE5 in my opinion, the combat is so much fun, all the different attacks you can do is great so I definitely think it has the best combat in the series, one of my problems with the game is the story, Leon in his campaign felt pointless I loved seeing him but I don't really know what he added to the story and the constant boss fights against simmons at the end were really boring and dragged on, I had a similar problem with RE5 it just the same thing over and over and it drags on for what feels like years
@@connortyrrell2601 Yh I can see where you’re coming from with Leon’s campaign being a bit pointless but everyone else was there so why not yano Plus personally he has the best melee animations in the game and his wing shooters are the best pistol imo I think Leon’s segment is purely for gameplay bc the story may as well not exist but it’s the most fun gameplay out of all of them imo
Jake & Sherry's campaign in this is really fun, both characters are fun to play as and they get some of best weapons in the game, I can't defend the rest of this game though
NO WAY, bro. Chris' is way better -- Sherry and Jake's is by far the most unbearable. Chris had a great arc for his side of the story while Jake was just a brat.
The main issue people have with resident evil 6 is that it's action focused . Like 4&5 weren't I think 6 is good because the updated gameplay different campaigns having different elements . Another game you should check out is the Ubisoft game cold fear (similar to resident evil set except set on a whaling ship )
What I love about this game compared to RE4 is the combat. This game has the best combat system and the most fluid of motions. RE4, even the remake, has slow movements and janky ass motion control. In this game you can just tap a button and you can melee someone. Unlike the other game where you have to hold a button, do the hokey pokey, and then you can evade or block an attack. I honestly hope that if they remake this game, that they don't scrap the current fighting system.
That is exactly why it doesn't feel like Resident Evil and that is exactly why people hated it. By making the characters so extremely effective in melee combat, Capcom got rid of the tension a Resident Evil game is supposed to have, who cares if I run out of ammo when I can deal with waves of enemies with nothing but kicks and punches?
@@JuanDiegoCorreaQuintero-ss1pd Day late dollar short. Over half a fucking year ago. Thats your opinion, and I have mine. I like Resident Evil 4 and how it plays, because thats its style. But I like resident evil 6 more because it feels better to me. In RE6 i can melee enemies faster and Guess what? FUCKING DODGE their attacks. It pisses me off getting killed by some simple dickhead, all because my melee didnt do shit, low on healing, and no ammo. If it pisses me off, Im eventually gonna start hating the game. RE6 was fun from beginning to end. DONT even get me started on Ashley. They also made it so you can only kick a certain amount of times before you run out of stamina. Also im talking about the original RE4 not the remake. I was present when RE6 was released and I enjoyed its combat and horrible writing.
@@Archangel444 of course you can have your opinion, as do all resident evil fans. Why do you think there was such a drastic change from RE6 to RE7? Because no one liked RE6. One of my favorite co-op games of all time (re5 also). I never cared that it isn't a good OG survival horror experience cuz it's so much fun with a friend or even randoms
It's not a bad game, not great but not bad. One of the last co-op games, 3 different stories where both characters have to do different things hell the characters separate a lot more than 4-5. 2 out of the 3 stories are decent, Wesker's kid being the most boring (he is the cure, first human to adapt to the virus)
I do however wish that they had taken the horror approach instead. I think resident evil revelations 2 was the best RE game before the RE engine era. It had co-op in an interesting way, but I can see why random people joining wouldn't like the approach...
Not a horrible game, was my first along with 4 and 5 considering I’m a 2000’s kid I was born around the time of this games in their prime, I really enjoyed jakes campaign and Leon’s both actually had sense of Resident evil classic in them. With Jake being a slight hint to wesker and leons having actual zombies.
I played this with a friend. Barring the poor internet connection between Alberta and Texas we had a glorious comedy with massive lag spikes and the occasional glitched cutscene. Every time we got to a door we would purposely wait for the character who's at the door to yell the other character's name then we would help with the door.
RE6 will always be one of my guilty pleasures. It was the game that truly got me into the Resident Evil series when I was younger.
same . played it on the couch with my younger brother so it always has a spot in my heart
It was RE5 for me
To be honest it wasn't that bad re6, i think it was panned but the reason it was disliked so much is because it was missing the horror element after a chapter, which of course re without horror anyone would be confused at, the problem was that panned it is that people never really stuck around for the full extent, like co-op, playing as the enemy, the movesets of each character and how their melee attacks from stuns, parrys and such worked, its a shame really.

I let re4, 5, and 6 be an example to try out a game for myself rather than let public opinion keep me from them and i found them even more enjoyable because of it. I went in expecting ashley to be annoying but she was very manageable.

like each campaign have different genre.
Leon = Horror
Chris = Action shooter
Jake = hack and slash
Ada = Stealth
all = tedious
@@lordhampter9632 No
@@kato093 bro everything you said is true and I agree with it too.

Idc this is one of my favorite games of all time and the best RE game of all time
That shark fight is crazy. How in the hell do they do all that fighting underwater?!
You fighting it sliding with the water
Not under the water.
The place you fight it like a giant tnnel waterslide.
It's action packed uike other games where you have to move slowly and carefully, but it's not really bad, it's just different from the typical RE formula
For what it's worth, Re6 is fun to play with friends and families
I love that you decided to play RE6, it's sooo much fun !, I think it was the best selling Capcom game at the time, I know the fans might hate it but when you play with friends it gets so much better
Love that many people have come around to appreciating it along with RE5. To me it's always been about Chris, Leon, Jill, Claire coming into their own and fighting bioterror. Not to mention some new characters were introduced along the way, like Sheva. Helena, grown up Sherry etc.
@@gman7497 You forget Rebecca.
I completed RE6 for the first time recently and it’s actually decently good the story is fairly good not spectacular but decent, gameplay is fun and addicting af especially the melee combat, I could be alone here but I personally think this game has the best combat in the entire RE series
I’m open to discussion abt this
I only just started playing the game I've gotten through Leon's campaign and started Chris's and I agree the game is a blast and way better than RE5 in my opinion, the combat is so much fun, all the different attacks you can do is great so I definitely think it has the best combat in the series, one of my problems with the game is the story, Leon in his campaign felt pointless I loved seeing him but I don't really know what he added to the story and the constant boss fights against simmons at the end were really boring and dragged on, I had a similar problem with RE5 it just the same thing over and over and it drags on for what feels like years
@@connortyrrell2601 Yh I can see where you’re coming from with Leon’s campaign being a bit pointless but everyone else was there so why not yano
Plus personally he has the best melee animations in the game and his wing shooters are the best pistol imo
I think Leon’s segment is purely for gameplay bc the story may as well not exist but it’s the most fun gameplay out of all of them imo
100% best combat system in the entire RE series.
I totally love this as a co-op game I already have 100+ hours on it.
I
Even i like the game but there's way it's good enough to ay for more than 100 hours
@@-thesalemcrow-5941 Mostly Co-op Mercenaries and helping new players get through the game
RE6 is my guilty pleasure in the franchise. I put a lot of time into it when it first released on the 360.
So, 6 is the action title out of the horror series, but it still had a story to tell...well, thats how I like to see it
Jake & Sherry's campaign in this is really fun, both characters are fun to play as and they get some of best weapons in the game, I can't defend the rest of this game though
this game has some fun ideas then they go uhhhhb blizzard key hunt
I hope the way of changing weapons in re6 is still kept as well if it had a remake, since u could just swap weapons faster than just swaping them slow
Type "worst to best Resident Evil" and every video and page you see will have RE 6 at the very bottom. So yeah, you can have your opinion even if it's a shitty one.
Bro if they use re6 combat system in re4r that would be a blast and fun as hell
4:29 I'm actually crying, he legit sounded angry.
Looks fun to me. More action focused than even re5 which I enjoyed immensely. I liked the demo too which is all I played for re6
I love Re6, thank you for trying it Kev
@@TheDrsalvation I really enjoyed resident evil 4,5,6,7 especially re6 because I really like the action
I had a ton of fun with RE 6, multiplayer in 5 and 6 is a blast
It's definitely not a bad game. It's not the best RE game, but I actually think it might be one of my favorites
This game looks like some random dream that you have after watch action movies in childhood
If you only played 4 5 and 6 how do you know what the classics feel like lolll
I’m gonna say it !
RE6 is one of the best resident evil games released 😩
Yes it’s over the top and ridiculous but if you just accept it it’s a blast
Couldn't agree more.
Resident Evil was always over the top action, even Resident Evil 4 (the fans favorite) has over the top action.
I will forever love RE6 its one of my favorite Resident Evil games
I played this with a friend. Barring the poor internet connection between Alberta and Texas we had a glorious comedy with massive lag spikes and the occasional glitched cutscene. Every time we got to a door we would purposely wait for the character who's at the door to yell the other character's name then we would help with the door.
