Honestly, if you're playing RE4make on Pro/Hardcore, you have a maxed out knife. It's basically essential for parrying and knifing downed enemies to save ammo or stop parasites. You'd have died long before Krauser without it.
In the OG RE4, Krauser is like equal to Leon, but in the remake, Krauser is Leon's superior and mentor. I kinda like the Remake better, because of the fact that Krauser calling Leon a rookie makes the continuity more evident.

Cause Krauser was actually a good guy in the before RE games, not like a good good guy but he had some morals and wanted to serve his country, after losing his arm when in a mission with leon (Krauser trained leon so ye), he got discharged and was so mad and decided to get infected with the las plaga to regrow his hand and get brain-washed, so leon getting angry lookin at Krauser was cause Krausers desperation to get his old life caused him to get killed by leon, so ye
The reason i say Krauser trained leon is cause they both are almost equally matched in close combat and also the line "Knifes are faster" was used by leon in the before chapter with ada, the same line Krauser used, and also the ending Krauser before he died he said "I trained you well", hinting that Krauser trained leon before he joined the government's secret operations .

I still don’t believe arias could get the upper hand like he is no warrior and doesn’t have an inkling of experience does all he is an arms dealer
Chris is overrated, Arias almost defeated him twice, if they weren't fighting on a glass ceiling those punches would have sent chris to the creator.
