From as many mornings as I watched this game, I have a strong appreciation for how rare and difficult it was to hit all six buckets. This kid went at it without even thinking, legend.
This show just made me realize how F'd up society is today. The innocence of kids when I grew up. To days spoiled brats that have phones, money and no respect for others.
I attended two telecasts of Bozo back in 1976. I wanted to play the Grand Prize Game so badly, but the arrows didn't fall my way. (They had the camera move around real fast with arrows on the screen and would stop on a kid to be chosen to play back then) I had a Grand Prize Game set to practice at home, which I did the night before I went to the show. We had a connection to get on the show without waiting because my cousin worked for Tru-Link Fence that advertised on WGN at the time. Because of this, mother and I got to lead the Grand March at the end of the show. My mother told me that if I were older, I would have probably gotten to play the relay race game later in the show.
A bike and 50 bucks. Was gold back then!! Nowadays kids would expect an iPhone 14, 1k cash and a luxury cruise to the Bahamas 😂
This is a time machine. I am 8 or 9 again, and eating breakfast with my Dad watching Bozo before I hoped on the bus, and he headed to work.
Imagine being the kid at home winning the Duplicate Prizes!! I
I'm 44 and dammit, I want that GI Joe toy.
Who knew that Bozo was training the future for Beer Pong.
I’m 50 yrs old now and I plainly remember watching this show before I went to school . I was in the first grade back then . Time flies by
