Those were the days. Bozo was apart of your life Monday thru Friday. 12:00-1:00. Great they repeat some on the holidays. Never miss it! Thanks for the memories ❤️
I wish I could see the episode where I was picked as an at home player. I believe my Aunt sent in my name and I missed the episode. I was quite surprised to receive a box in the mail consisting of a jar of Ovaltine, Archway Windmall cookies, a gift certificate for a free pizza, a Bozo doll and a couple other things. I think I was 6 or 7 so 1978 or 1979.
I loved the Grand Prize Game myself. I was on the show in 1976 and would have loved to play it, but the Magic Arrows didn't fall my way. I had the home game, and I practiced the night before I went on the show.
This needs captions-enabled. Bless our Bozo 🎉 the incredibly talented Mr. Bob Bell ❤ I was So lucky to go Twice to Bozo's Circus 🎪 in my childhood (Thanks, Mom❣)
that is really great and charming - I wondered why we have these "uncanny clowns", when I grew up it was just too bizarre. Those are likable. And it reminds me of the time they "didn't really know what to show on tv", so they filmed theater, dances, orchestras and the type of "live" things people were used to go to spectate. It seems it started turning around the mid 80s towards the 90s where things became more "commercialized" and TV branched off into something entirely different.
Ahhh great memories!! My boss Travis played the grand prize game sometime between 1975 and 1979 wearing his cute cowboy outfit. I'd love to find video of him on Bozo circus in Chicago!! 😆
I love that giant Baloo plush. I tried searching images of that one, but it doesn't come up. Was that one made by another company not exactly associated with Disney or somewhere else?
Unfortunately Bob Bell, who originally portrayed Bozo, died a horrible death,he was found dismembered, his arms were in one room, his legs in another room, and his balls were in bucket number six.
So good to see old Bozo videos brings me back to my childhood memories so much fun :)

Most of the Bozo shows were taped over.

I was on the game at the end of Bozo’s Circus in 1977. I’d love to find a recording!
I miss this.
I use to watch the Bozo show as a child in the 80's and early 90's.
That show was broadcast on my birthday back in '78.

I remember that the show came on Sundays.
Before that it was every weekday at noon and kids would watch it on their lunch break.

Love the old Bozo's Circus from The 70s era.
I’m not even supposed to be here!
Good memories and Cookie sounds like Crusty the Clown 🤡 from The Simpsons 😂😂😂
Dan Castellaneta actually inspiration for Krusty's voice from Bob Bell's Bozo.
No eye wasn't inn the audience. Just watched on 📺. I still have my my mouthpiece from the Tuba my parents rented 4 me at 6th grade elementary school

I’m pretty sure it has a pie fight
I’m 46 and live 6 hours from Chicago. I always wanted to win the Bozo Cake from Roeser’s
30:31 That's not a payphone. It's a slot machine.

@@BeliaLastes Wow, I expected a lot of local Chicagoans to get this joke, but didn’t expect a hot blond from Norway to get it!

@@misstee101
Bozo = Steve Harvey.
Don't trust him as host of any show or pageant.
Crazy how they made something out of nothing. And they had to make up new stuff every time.
Bozo's Circus? WTH is that, that looks like a horrible old show? lol 😂
Its because your a scarddie cat, that's why! Only Chicago kids back in the day get it and BOZO was halirious. 🎪🎭😆
