The reason they added that inside wall to run the water lines is so they don’t freeze up in the winter. You can’t run them inside the wall if it’s an outside wall as they would freeze. I’m enjoying your channel, nice to see Canadian content.
Beautiful work so far! Some type of high wainscoting in the mudroom would give the walls extra dimension and style. Could be painted your favorite color for contrast.

Doug is right, you can’t put plumbing in an outside wall. They will freeze and bust. Love what you have done so far.

Use hooks to hang your shoes. gets them off the ground and can help air out odor and moisture

Yes I have thought about that, I’m sure we’ll do something like that in the future because I think it looks great and it’s a timeless look!
