This is a video showing all of the Fatalities/Finishers for Primal Rage, I recorded it from the Midway Arcade Treasures 2, the game says it's 2.3 version but a lot of people from what I've seen have had issues with the Fatalities/Finishers for this game, below is the correct list.

I was fortunate to be one of the main Game Testers on this game back in 1994, helping the dev team tune and balance the game. It was a lot of fun, especially because the dev team had a hard time beating me and always calling me cheap. :P Steve R, Frank K, Chris T, Dennis H, and Jason L -- if you guys see this comment... hollah!! Let's team up again and finish Primal Rage 2!! :D

I met the MK dev team like John Tobias and Ed Boon when I was flown down to the Chicago office to help test one of their games. At that time they started working on MK4. Pretty cool guys. I remembered those guys throwing bunch of CDs around like ninja stars, trying to knock things out and also trying to get them to stick on the walls. I would see them once in a while at our Milpitas office (Bay Area) whenever the company had an All -Hands Meeting. I did meet a couple of their testers, but can't remember their names. One of them was a skinny rocker looking guy.
Larz so out of curiosity, any info on why the controls had you holding buttons and then using the directional pad for moves instead of the more common street fighter or mortal kombat style inputs?
The controls was one of the main things I complained about when I first worked on the game, but the dev team just wanted to be different from the other fighting games. We did have a version where it was just like Street Fighter where you can tap at the buttons instead of holding them down, and it also included 6 buttons instead of 4. The 5th and 6th buttons were just the combination of the two punch buttons and kick buttons, but you can also stick with the usual 4 buttons if you wanted to. I believe that version was for the Japanese market, but I can't remember if it ever got released. We did eventually use the common 6 button format like Street Fighter for Primal Rage II, but of course that game didn't see the light of day.
Larz that's some really awesome insight! I loved everything about the game but the controls always were a tad wonky. Unfortunate the sequel never made it to shelves. Thanks for the reply!
One of the best games ever. I remember calling up the company and getting them to mail me a list of all these moves, before you could find everything on the net.

I remember playing this game all the time in my local Chuck.E.Cheese with my dad. He would always kick my butt at it but dam does it bring back the nostalgia its one of my best child hood memories

I remember waiting in an airport for HOURS to get on a plane to Italy, must have spent like $30 on quarters playing this arcade game in some random hallway next to some vending machines. Fell in love with it.
The bowling alley in my hometown had this arcade in it, and I remember watching the demo as a kid. Vertigo always scared the crap out of me.
Likewise, vertigo always gave me goosebumps. Even coming across this video now!
This arcade was placed next to Mortal Kombat in a Mexican restaurant down the street from my house. Being a kid with limited funds, you can imagine the agony I went through trying to decide what I would spend my two or three hard earned quarters on.

I remember having to choose between Primal rage, Mk 3 and killer instinct. It was Christmas and I was stood in Currys ( uk electronics store ) & I couldn't decide which 1 to have so my dad ended up buying me all 3. What's better is he let me open and play on primal rage before Christmas.... I miss my dad!
I miss the arcade days. You’d go out to eat at any restaurant and you could pretty much guarantee they’d have awesome video games you could play, be it this, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, etc.

Am I the only one that is confused as to why *BLIZZARD* does not have an ice related fatality?
Samuel Albouze Yeah, he could've frozen em and uppercutted the opponent while they were stuck.
To be fair, he is also the most moral among the gods, so from that point of view, his fatality where he sends his opponent's soul up to Heaven makes sense.
I also thought that was odd. It is fitting that he can send you to Heaven instead of just eating you, but they could have given that same gimmick to Armadon, instead of having that supposedly "Good" protector-deity literally BATHE in his opponent's blood.

Vertigo was always my favorite when I was little. I just loved how she had a snake-like look to her and could turn people to stone like Medusa. :)
She was my personal favorite, as well. I even recall having a toy of her, as well...Until my dog chewed her up.
Tyrant Gregcag I had a toy of her too. Well, it was my brothers' technically, but I always liked it. XD They also had toys of Sauron, Diablo, and Talon.
They pretty much made toys for every single monster from the franchise that you could imagine.
+Zachary Jorgensen they even made toys for Necrosan and Slash Fang, who were gonna be in the sequel. I loved the toy line for PR as a kid, I still have my Talon figure.

That's funny, I was helping my parents move out of their house about a year ago and we were going through some old toys of me and my brothers and I found Sauron ( 0:07 ) and Talon ( 0:38 ) toys from years ago.

I believe they made a Saber Tooth for Primal Rage II but that game technically never came out I believe there is a few prototype Arcades out there or what not I'm sure you can get some videos of it here on TH-cam as well. That's what's up though!

Wow, this was a blast from the past! I used to play this all the time when I was little. A man, close to where I used to live, had the arcade version of this in his store. That machine drained me of my allowance on so many occasions. lol I finally found out it was on the SNES, so I started renting it instead. Also had the action figures too. Yeah, you could say I was a big fan of this game. ^-^

I remember playing this game for the first time at a Peter Piper Pizza in the Springs of Colorado. I had a copy for the SNES. I now own the PS1 copy, and it still works!!

I wouldn't mind if they brought back the two new monster from Primal Rage 2, but I really hope that they don't add in the whole human aspect, since it's so out of place. If anything, it can probably have at least one or two of them, while the others are DLC, but it'd be a shame if they are in the story. I'd rather see more new monsters and dinosaurs, such as a Spinosaurus, a Carnotaurus, etc., all in an HD, beautiful graphics remake.

I want a Primal Rage DLC in Gigabash. If you don’t know what that is it’s a giant monster fighting game that HAS Godzilla as a DLC character. It also has Ultraman.

I really hope this franchise returns one day, sure the game isn't too fantastic but it had this really cool charm to it and some very memorable characters. Vertigo and Diablo were my 2 favourites, Vertigo had such a unique, striking design that really made her stand out compared to the rest of the cast whereas Diablo was just badass, he literally sends you too hell!
Sauron was my favorite back then. he was just so intimidating and scary and the idea of the victor eating their opponent was so disturbing. I loved this game and still do lol

Ahhhh the memories! Back when I was a lil tyke most of my friends weren't allowed to play this. My mom was really into games so she bought it and let us play it. It's amazing how far games have come.

i was around 4 years old and although i don't remember much i remember being enamored with the music that played when you conquered the other lands. its really cool to finally see the rest of what the game offered
i went back to it a few years ago and couldn't get past the weird control scheme.

Just imagine a remake, with updated dino models, some more dinosaurs/beasts in general, and HD! Some of those locations would look gorgeous in today's graphics, and fatalities could be upgraded to look even more gruesome!

Chun Li, was the Grandmother of ALL Female characters in Arcade Fighting games.
My family and I used to go to Butlins at Skegness and this was on an arcade machine, like any young lad I was crazy for dinosaurs. My parents bought the game for me on Super Nintendo and I was ecstatic.

I had one of the high scores when I was like 12 on this game at an arcade machine at a swapmeet some streets from where I still live. Now I'm 21 and boy does this bring back memories, wish it was on ps4 I'd buy it for nostalgia alone. This game deserves to be remastered with maybe a bit more content (story/maps, beasts, it being playable against other people might not hurt either)

Wow! All of Diablo's finishers are awesome! I thought everyone had at least one rather silly finisher just for the sake of it, but Diablo has none. All of his finishers are badass!

@@terrance3218 As I seem to recall, Sauron was actually good (believe it or not), while Diablo is (obviously) evil.
@Burst Your Bubble correction, Sauron is the only neutral character in this franchise, and the reason he ate everything was because... He was hungry.
This may sound wrong, but looking at Sauron, Talon and Vertico eat makes me hungry.

I read on the primal rage wikia that since Chaos is so filthy (probably due to wallowing in his own excrement for eons), he contaminates the water supply, and kills everybody that way.
Jamie Acree Eons? I dunno, I read that he was a man of science before the Cataclysms. Yes, *man* . He was human. I dunno how he came to be a deity unless Chaos was a separate entity who chose this human as a vessel, and the profile I read doesn't explain very well his reason for fighting the others.

I remember playing this in Laughlin all the time! There was no other arcade game I would play. Armadon was my favorite because there was a move where he curls up and smashes the opponent. Very brutal

Talon is close to the accurate raptor, because the real dinosaurs weren't just scales, they also had feathers especially on the head. I truly love the colors of this raptor as well!

Back when I used to live in a small town called Ruidoso in New Mexico, a burger joint named Mr burger had this arcade game and I would play it every time I'd go.
