Very useful reminder lesson Rachel. Re playing enough, I found it's quite true what they say...leave your uke accessible and not in its gig bag..when it's there in front of you you will automatically play it more. x
Thanks Rachel. Started playing about 12 years ago, but have to admit, haven’t played much since started playing bass. This is a good reminder to get it out and tune it up. Thanks for the nudge. 😊
Hi Rachel, all very good sound advice and I’m glad you are still encouraging youngsters into music. I would just add one more thing. When you get home from your ukulele group take your Uke out of the case and keep it on a stand in view. That way it is a visual reminder to practice. It’s easy to pick up for five minutes and run through that chord progression or riff you did last meeting.
Having been playing the ukulele for around 4 years, it is nice to check in with the basics. I do think I actually now all this, even the teachers you mention. But I could need some organisation and structure, especially on my U Bass journey. BTW, Rachel, I`ll tell my wife that UAS is okay, although I do not think she will agree. She seems to think that around 13 ukuleles (soprano, concert, tenor, supertenor, baritone and bass) is quite enough 😂

It has been a while. Nice to see you back on YT. Fantastic work on introduction the uke to to so many youngsters.

Thanks Rachel, as you said always good to be reminded. 👍
