- What is the ideal setup for a family getting into Wing Foiling? The legend himself, Robby Naish, share the details of how to choose the righty size gear for Wing Foiling:
Board: 95-110 litres
Mast: 75 cm
Foil:: 1650 cm
Wing Size: 4.4-5.5 m

Great question, great information and a very honest reply. Thanks Robby
Love Robby but a 95 L board for a 200 pound beginner is a big ask unless he’s in salty water and 20 plus winds like Maui. Guys over 200 who live by lakes or low wind areas should get the Naish 125 or 140, a 2000 sq. cm. foil, and a 6m wing.
AMEN to that
Jake Dawg, this is great advice.....go bigger early
200lbs, 127 L
195, started with 125L, works well for me
Hang on every word the man says. There is no bad advice when Robby talks.
That's the best advice I've heard. I'm buying Naish.
Legendary advice. You da man, Robby !
Amazing counselling!
Robby what are the Y handles for?
Just find out that Robby Naish is born 1963, same as I, and I bought Naish Mistral 1979. I broke two of all jumping... So, then is next generation taking over Mr Naish?
Great advice from Robbie
right on!
Yea no problem it’s easy to get into, just drop 10k on a couple wings, foils, kites, boards. The whole family can have fun
We have seen pretty good complete packages from local shops for under $3000. The first generation of riders are also flipping their beginner gear and great used deals are available now too. It's very affordable compared to buying a PWC or other type of boat.
Great vid
