Mister Naish, thank you so much for those fantastic tutorials. I used to windsurf in the 80’ and 90’ (and followed avidly the Pro circuit), trying poorly to emulate your unmatched mastery. Started SUP last year, but missed the windsurf feel... Then you guys came out with... WINGSURF! I deeply hope this is gonna put me back steady on water for the next decades, as I just reached the 50 yrs mark. Ride on and you’ll always be the... unmatched!

As someone on the fence about whether to invest more $$$ onto an existing windsurfing / SUP quiver, this is a good, solid information. Thank you for doing this. Your engagement with the customer is appreciated and I don’t see many others doing this. Aloha

So glad I won't have to store a giant mast/boom/specialized board combo. This is awesome!

Robby Naish is the best in many aspects. And great instructor. I watched his videos, all my anxiety about the sport was gone. Because he is calm and makes it all simple, not intimidating like many others. I'll make sure I buy from his brand, no other. His daughter, needless to say, makes it all looks possible to anyone.

Very interesting. Not seen these before. I was a big fan of yours growing up and windsurfing in the late 80s. Pre Internet and social media.
Now approaching 50 I must try this. Thanks for the instructional content.

@Garth Marsden: Just crept past 61! Started at aged 20 on Hayling Island. We always said if you gave Robbie a railway sleeper and a golf umbrella he could still beat us whatever we were on.
Good to see he’s still going strong 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@PhilbyFavourites ⚠️ God has said in the Quran:
🔵 { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 )
🔴 [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. ( 2:22 )
🔵 And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. ( 2:23 )
🔴 But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.( 2:24 )
🔵 And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 )

Hi Robby, Very informative. I learnt to windsurf in South Africa, when you were 13, and I was 10. My first windsurfer had a teak boom with inner tube wrapped around it and it was too heavy to lift so your techniques helped me to learn wet start right away. Thanks for being a champion of water/wind sports. So today I have an 11' SUP and wonder how I can determine the right wing-size to start with the light winds of Florida ? I weigh 200 lbs now. Can you use a harness with the wing or not needed?

Thanks! One small note. Board leash. Maybe obvious, but maybe not to someone new to wind/surf board sports.

My wife has brought me the new s26 I intend to start to familiarise my with it out the water with a mountain board I already have. My question is could I then progress to the water using a very old style F1 kite board?

if you are going to use a wing with your SUP don't you need to add one of those adhesive dagger boards because won't your SUP just slip sideways mostly?

Robby, I find leaving my board like that the wind blows it over, just the other day the board blew over and over?
I have started to lay it face down in to wind with the foil vertical in the air with the theory the wind should push it into the sand??
