'Will try my best...': India's new CDS General Anil Chauhan vows to tackle security challenges

- General Anil Chauhan took charge as India's second Chief of Defence Staff today. He assumed the office of India's top-most military general nine months after the death of the country's first CDS General Bipin Rawat in a chopper crash in Tamil Nadu. The new CDS said that he will try to fulfil the expectations of the three defence forces and promised to tackle all the challenges and difficulties. Watch this video to know more.

He is also Uttrakhandi Garwali just like Bipin Rawat Sir and from the same Unit 11GR.
Regiment is same which is 11GR. Unit is not the same. General Bipin Rawat was from 5/11 while General Anil Chauhan is from 6/11.
But he doesn't have the same aura as him sadly
@@SanPot123 You might feel that since the actions taken inside the Army are quite secretive and rarely known to the public. Usually the only person who is highlighted and always in the news is the Chief for various reasons. We had General Bipin Rawat as our chief and then as our CDS as well, so he was in public life for a very long time, hence you might think that his aura was different. Trust me, General Anil Chauhan by the end of his tenure would be at the same level, as officers in the Armed Forces are quite similar!!
@@SanPot123 They are the Babban Shers of our country. Please don't be too quick to judge. No one can replace Late Gen Bipin Rawat from our hearts, but the show must go on. Gen Anil Chauhan sir is no less than Bipin sir. It took our Govt 10 long months to find a suitable CDS and I can damn guarantee, he has an unmatched aura. He will justify his post very well.

Navy has little combat experience compared to army.
Army will be main.
Indian Army over 11 Lakhs active personnel.
Indian Navy less than 1 Lakh active personnel. Infact well under merely 70 thousand personnel in the Navy.
No second guessing then from which service the CDs would be.
@@Juandinggong No all the three services are equally important and hence the tri-service post of CDS was created to bring the 3 services under a joint venture together....... I've been doing research about military and defence since last 6 years and I'm an analyst and i guarantee that there would most certainly be CDS' from Navy and Air Force in the coming years

First of all your friends try to recruitment from GD where height is first criteria but cds sir recruited through NDA where exam qualification is first criteria even you also join through NDA, and you direct Posted on lieutenant officer post and then after 6 months promoted at captain post and process ongoing
