You are about the best mechanic that I have ever watched. You are clear, concise, no extra nonsense yadda yadda. I appreciate your knowledge and attitude about following specs and performing the job correctly. I have been a mechanic for 50 years. There are many that can not explain anything. Thanks for an excellent tutorial.
I do appreciate everyone who post helpful videos. Some of them could learn a lot from your videos. They're steady, well lit and good camera angles; plus your understandable and friendly instructions. I've used a few of your vids in the past and wanted to thank you for how well done your vids are.
Thanks for the awesome video! I just bought slotted & drilled rotors new calipers and ceramic pads. This was extremely useful information. This is where I always come for my jeep fixes.
I also have a 2000 TJ Sahara. My brakeline from the ABS to the proprtion valve sprung a leak and the part is discontinued. Found a mech. who would bend a line but did better for only $45.00 with a specialty racing shop in Sacramento who fabricated a steel mesh line while I waited.
you could save alot of fluid with clear tubing into a container with brake fluid in it. still see the air as itll bubble in the fluid container. learned it from a old man
I know a little trick bleeding brakes by using a coke bottle. I get a vacuum line about 2 feet long. Drill a hole top of the empty coke bottle cap big for the vacuum line to go through. Then I fill the bottle halfway with brake fluid enough to submerge the vacuum line. The other of the vacuum line on the bleeder joint. Loosen your bleeder joint and pump until the bubbles stop then tighten the bleeder jointed. For less mess you have to clean up.
I've heard about the method many times. I'm gonna have to try it on the next brake job I do. Thanks for adding a great suggestion for other viewers! Have a great day!!
Quick video suggestion: guinea pig the TJ for a “backflush the heater core”. I think mine needs done and I like your informative videos a lot. Even on the rust bucket too
That is a great idea. His TJ is so clean I don't know that it would show a big difference in the coolant cleanliness. So, I may do that video on my 91 YJ. The procedure would be the same as the TJs. The engine blocks and cooling system are very very similar between the two so the information could work on about any of the Jeeps except for the JKs and up. Thanks for a great suggestion. I'm putting on my "to-do" video list! Have a great day!!
Thanks man. I appreciate you and all the work you put in to your content. I may have a TJ but your videos really make me consider trading for a late model YJ
Great information, with great explanation. I have a 92 jy. I am considering a brake conversion form drum to disc. I learned the existing proportioning valve is not correct for the new rear discs. I need to know what is the correct new valve that is needed. (I am a pretty good parts changer, but I am not a mechanic)
I have on other cars in the past. I havent created a video on it yet. My 1991, I will be doing a brake series on it soon.. It need a ebrake cable. So, I may run a new one then. When .. I have no idea just subscribe to the channel so you dont miss the video when I release it. Thanks for dropping in! Have a great day!

The "Banjo" description comes from the shape of the end of the soft-line hose when the bolt goes through. It's shaped like a banjo. The more ya know!
Now that you mention it, I can see that! Thanks for dropping in that bit information! Have a great day!
