www.nicksscienc... With special thanks to Nick we have a blast and get zapped by a Tesla Coil, we also had a demo of a Crookes Tube. Thanks for watching the videos.
You have sparked an extreme curiosity within me to learn about electricity. Looking into crookes tubes brought me to your page. Tesla coil brought me here. This is incredible. I had no idea you could play musical notes from an electric arc with a controller...absolutely astounding. Cheers!
+Thulyblu Apparently yes can still mean no 6 months down the track now. Amazing. Hope it works for my mortgage. "I know I said I'd pay the monthly, but now I don't consent." Thanks feminism.
3:33 - Dude thank you SO much for including Bach in there, because that's literally the music I wanted to hear from this! When I first heard the tunes you were playing on it, I thought - it would be so cool to hear what Bach sounds like on that - and YOU DID!
Nice to see you back. Would love to play with that Tesla coil. High voltage low current shocks are quite funny. Used to connect a 9V batterers to the secondary s of mains transformers to step up the voltage. Much better than sticking the battery on your tongue
Welcome back photon. Thought you had been whisked away to do tv work seeing as you not been on here for a while. So glad to see your up and well and going to entertain thousands of us once again. good on ya :)
Loving this video, amazing! Music off the Tesla coil is quite interesting. And also I love the fact that you like to sit there and zap yourself again and again with mega voltage, and you seem to get a kick out of it. =)
Sitting back and watching the vid on the telly and my cat sits up and starts watching too... If only she had a youtube account you'd score yourself another subscriber.
+matt rogers They can rupture if over 80,000 amp on short circuit, lower amperage just causes the wire to break and get quenched internally with sand to extinguish the arc.
so glad ya back andy and not hurt too bad don't give ya nx bird everything tek it slow i been there dun that it seems like u will neva meet anyone but its at that point out of the blue that you will find her but av some fun in the mean time good to av ya back
That is the start of the coolest instrement eva built. sounds like a saw in music production. can be simplified to make a piano/sythinsiser. with the lighning showing through a glass case at the back. THE TESLA ORGAN
He says the paddlewheel turns because the impacting electrons have mass and thus momentum, and push the paddlewheel. That's certainly true but there are so few grams of electrons flowing compared to the mass of the paddlewheel that I don't think that alone can get it to turn that fast. I think what's happening is the same sort of thing as a radiometer… the electron beam heats up one side of the paddlewheel which in turn emits infrared light, and the radiation pressure of the emitted infrared in turn pushes the paddlewheel.
Missed ya, It's been too long man! That Crookes tube is a thing of beauty. That must have been an awesome time to have been around when all these crazy electrical experiments were just taking off. As for women...Good one can make ya, bad one can break ya. The only person that can definitely make or break you though, is you.
Just a comment, the Crooke's paddlewheel experiment doesn't work because of the momentum of the electrons, but rather because of expanding gasses from heat. The force of an electron striking the paddle is an order of magnitude less than the forces of the expanding gas.
You should try to replicate the Philadelphia Experiment! 6 x 5 meter Tesla coils with connected primaries mounted at 90o to each other in XYZ axis, mounted on the US Aldridge. As voltage was increased a corona started to cover the coils . Increasing the voltage further, the corona turned into "an electronic fog" that coved the ship. Increasing the voltage further, the fog disappeared, so did the ship, but those observing could see the water being opened by the ship's hull. Then the whole damn thing disappeared & rematerialized in Norfolk 200 miles south of Philadelphia, confirmed by Navy personnel on shore. 10 minutes later it reappeared in Philadelphia... the 20 sailers on board were fused with metal walls & float of the ship &either died or had body parts amputated to get free. The rest had psychiatric issues. There are few details that I never got.. but the Tesla coils in X Y Z configuration, each one independent primaries, but held together by Bakelite is the only thing I found in common from all descriptions over the last 15 years! I also have plans for an electrogravitic device that flies. 10 meters in diameter. Let me know if you are interested, by replying to this post.
I have a small one that run's on 24 volts 3 amps and it is driven by transistors. I have touched it many times, but I also have received bad burns from it.
Crap! I remember watching your Cheap Backup power video. Still here and just seen you're at over 150,000 Subs, time goes so fast when you're blowing stuff up.
back in 1984 I was playing with an old Sun car engine scope and a coil from a car. the oscilloscope said the coil was producing 54K and I was getting it to arc to ground. what fun till I decided to see just how long an arc I could get and the current decided to used me for ground. I felt it all the way up to my shoulder to the neck and made my short term memory a little sketchy for about 30 minutes.
G'day, Yay Team ! That Musical Van De-Graff/Tesla Generator thing sounded like an Electric Saxaphone being played onboard the legendary "Good Ship Venus" by the bloke in the Verse which tells that "The First Mate's name was Carter, By Christ he was a Farter... When the Wind wouldn't blow, And the Ship wouldn't go...; They'd get Carter the Farter To start her...!" With that Musical Tesla Coil, Y' could fart a Beethoven Sonata ! ;-p Ciao !
spooky! was looking at tesla coil build up vids this morning after seeing a 500,000 volt coil in action last Sunday at amberly working museums electric hall
You are one hell of a nutter.... I love it! a modern day "mad scientist" BTW I purchased this coil from Nick!! so its my prize posession now!! Keep these videos coming
I'm alive! I still read your comments, as always best regards to you all.Shit loads more videos required I think :)
+Photonicinduction yeah you should
have a good one mate
+Photonicinduction I have no idea what you're talking about half of the time, but I watch every last video, awesome stuff!! Shit loads more indeed!!
Farm style electric fence zaps are where it is at for shocks.
Could I visit with a spare computer and lots of electronics to blow??
Thanks for high voltage touching video! Best regards! :o)
You have sparked an extreme curiosity within me to learn about electricity. Looking into crookes tubes brought me to your page. Tesla coil brought me here. This is incredible. I had no idea you could play musical notes from an electric arc with a controller...absolutely astounding. Cheers!
Glad to see you are still around. I thought you bit the dust! :-)
Photon is the HUMAN TESLA COIL.
"Call me maybe", played on a Tesla Coil...That's just amazing :D
I know that song so i knew it at the start 😁
it is perfect for old 8bit games music ! 😁
4:21 Hey i just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my coil, so shock me maybe.
+Owiko7
Remember what feminism teaches us: "Maybe means no!"
Cherry Cream Im a robot, so what does that mean?
Thulyblu ...and no means yes? "would you like a bowl of cereal?" "no" *hands you a bowl of cereal*
+Thulyblu Apparently yes can still mean no 6 months down the track now. Amazing. Hope it works for my mortgage. "I know I said I'd pay the monthly, but now I don't consent." Thanks feminism.
+Owiko7 Better than the original song
Niko Tesla would be very disappointed knowing people play "Hey i just met you" through his fucking coils lol
At least they also played some Bach.
true true
TheJohn8765 was gonna say they played way better shit I'd love to hear as much classical as they would play with that thing it sounds great
I was seriously just thinking, "I haven't seen a PhotonicInduction video, in something like forever." Good seeing ya!
me to i had to check if id unsubbed by mistake.
+AtheosPhyve I'm just happy to see him up and zapping around.
U cAn see real danger of Tesla coil th-cam.com/video/DHlys1dTum4/w-d-xo.html
The "Call me maybe" part was the best :)) Cheers mate !
This is being played wednesday evening on my 3kw amplifier. My kids are going to love this video. We all missed you here in sandy beds uk
3:33 - Dude thank you SO much for including Bach in there, because that's literally the music I wanted to hear from this! When I first heard the tunes you were playing on it, I thought - it would be so cool to hear what Bach sounds like on that - and YOU DID!
You have some serious ozone in the air. Some very neat devices.
Been a hell of a good time watching your videos over the years. Glad to see you're still around.
And this is why Nikola Tesla is my favorite inventor of all time! I even did a full essay/presentation about him and his inventions in middle school.
Welcome back Photonicinduction, you've been missed.
Nice to see you back. Would love to play with that Tesla coil. High voltage low current shocks are quite funny. Used to connect a 9V batterers to the secondary s of mains transformers to step up the voltage. Much better than sticking the battery on your tongue
Wow, the Tesla music is crazy, and fascinating at the same time.
I love how you played call me maybe
Yeah it was bang on to.
+thehoodie101 I was expecting 009 sound system like in the hard drive speaker video
Glad to see you return with such a cool vid, Cheers from across the pond, look forward to seeing the new stuff!!
I don't think you can pump out videos fast enough to fulfill our hunger for your antics! Good show!
Welcome back photon. Thought you had been whisked away to do tv work seeing as you not been on here for a while. So glad to see your up and well and going to entertain thousands of us once again. good on ya :)
its been forever mate I haven't seen your videos in a good minute its nice to see you bacl
I'm a bit old to be using the word 'cool' but that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long while.
I love the smell of Ozone in the morning. ;-)
Good to see you back with style. Hope your health is all good now after the dramas you had a while back
You make me chuckle every time I watch your videos!
That was amazing, especially when it started playing tunes, in polyphony too!
My cat loved the audio. Wide-eyed and bewildered.
Very cool, glad to see you back again.
seeing a new upload from you mate made my day. cheers.
'mad scientists' are words that come up in my head. lol
Love you channel, always waiting for a new vid. Thanks
" I'm gonna touch it, when he's cranking it up, with my bare hands " Ever since I watched the show Archer, I keep noticing phrases like that. :-)
Hey hey! the legend has returned
Brilliant vid! Very nice, glad to see you finally filmed a Tesla coil, and very nice Crookes tube demo as well. Looking forward to more vids.
Cool little tesla coil that also plays music, awesome.
Liked the Crookes tube too.
The audio to energy EQ - paramount discoveries of my lifetime. Thanks for sharing. 👍 free energy
With great power comes great electricity bill
+chilcottjack29 XD
i agree :D
Even though tesla coils don't use much electricity at all
They really don't use by much power at all. It's all based upon amplification and frequency.
Yasssss
Great to see you doing well again. I'm hyped for then new videos
Hey what's it like to blow a huge ceramic fuse, does it bang or just burn out?
+matt rogers They can rupture if over 80,000 amp on short circuit, lower amperage just causes the wire to break and get quenched internally with sand to extinguish the arc.
+Photonicinduction is it possible for you to produce that amperage for a video
+matt rogers I like your way of thinking, lol
+matt rogers with a big fat cap bank it would be more than possible I imagine!
+Markus Bates made me laugh
HELL YES PHOTON!!!! finally theres gonna be something good on youtube to watch every day.
Good to have you back, Andy!
Glad your back doing vids. TURN IT RIGHT UP SON!!!!
3:44 Call me maybe never sounded so good. One of my favourite vids
Keep being awesome and thanks for all the videos.
Awesome to see a new series of vids comin from you, man!
I hope you've been well
its never too late for another photonicinduction binge lol. gotta watch all the classics
so glad ya back andy and not hurt too bad don't give ya nx bird everything tek it slow i been there dun that it seems like u will neva meet anyone but its at that point out of the blue that you will find her but av some fun in the mean time good to av ya back
Well pleased to see a new video up today!!
Glad to see you back! Tesla coils can be too much fun sometimes. Till they bite you. LOL!
It's been a long time since your last video Glads to see you again. :-)
I fucking love this guy, nutty London geezers and high voltage equipment go well together.
i remember watching your shit ages ago... and now im waching new stuff with great joy
That is the start of the coolest instrement eva built. sounds like a saw in music production. can be simplified to make a piano/sythinsiser. with the lighning showing through a glass case at the back.
THE TESLA ORGAN
After just a couple of videos I knew: this is the right place for me. Subscribed!

Glad you're back man! That was a long holiday.
Great to have you back man amazing vids!
great video.. it would be amazing to meet and talk with Tesla! glad to see you are well. Cheers from Michigan, USA!
I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE VIDEOS! It's like Christmas or something.
It was so dangerous that i started laughing! Glad to see you're still around, Photon. 8-D
It was about time to see some "Tesla action" in your channel, glad to see you again.
Missed ya, It's been too long man! That Crookes tube is a thing of beauty. That must have been an awesome time to have been around when all these crazy electrical experiments were just taking off. As for women...Good one can make ya, bad one can break ya. The only person that can definitely make or break you though, is you.
Superb video Andy - I love your work. Cheers!!
Id love to see more of the musical tesla coil.
Cool !! Glad that you are making video's again.
U cAn see real danger of Tesla coil th-cam.com/video/DHlys1dTum4/w-d-xo.html
Nice to see a video from you again!!
He alive.we need more video and dont leave us hanging
I love the way that stuff makes you jump when the arc makes contact. :P

The most electrifying performance of "Call Me Maybe" I've ever heard :)
you're back, awesome what a treat

what bullshit did i just read..
James28R then don't do it. It's a free country.
Less makey threads, more takey meds mate
What a SHOCKING video 😆 lol
Keep up the great job man, love the vids.
😎 😈 👍🏾
Am I the only one who was like "aaaaaay bach" I play the cello in high school and me and my friend used to be obsessed with that song :D
+Yawning Gull yeah me too. I'm sort of obsessed with Bach in general
I remember seeing one of those coils playing a few 8-bit/chiptunes! Shocking good fun!
I have a small one that run's on 24 volts 3 amps and it is driven by transistors. I have touched it many times, but I also have received bad burns from it.

cool you can see the level of the music on the rod.You need a toy like that.Cool you can heat the music load and clear thank for showing us
"Thats ok, I didnt need ears anyway.."

Ok Uncle, now show the world the lightbulb trick.
Great to see you back, by the way.
That music was awesome!! As is this channel!
Ah jaysus, I want one😃
Nice to see you back too, looking forward to the new vids👍👍
Woooo Hes back.
I love the bach cello suite. dude I want a Crookes tube.
Hey, I just met you
and this is shocking,
but here's my Tesla,
so coil me maybe! :P
You rock, Andy. Glad to see your're still going strong! As a former physics student, I love these demos.
G'day,
Yay Team !

Great to see your back again :)
That sound is so cool!
your my favorite youtuber, love your vids
Nice one, Andy! Don't think I've seen you happier :)
DEFINITELY watch this one with closed captions on. You will not be disappointed.
Nice to see you enjoying yourself and making videos again *thumbs up*
Happy to see you're back! How's the health mate? you doing alright?
