Great video - as always 😄. I've tried the Orafio coffee at friends and love it, but I have the original machine. Could you recommend an original capsule which tastes very close to the Orafio one? Thanks
I LOVED this pod. And i love Il Cafe. I recommend going a bit less on the milk and flavoring. For that size, i typically do 2 shots and add the ice after to keep it less diluted. But very very enjoyable.
I bought this one because of the licorice note. I frothed 2 oz of the unsweetened nutpods cinnamon swirl and 1/8 tsp of anise extract, it brought out the licorice and spicy notes. I thought it was tasty, I’m one of the weird ones that like black licorice.
I think for Orafio to be used for an iced drink you would need to use 2 pods. I made a hot drink with the orafio pod and some mocha syrup and it was phenomenal!
By far my favorite of the new batch (excluding il caffè). What I did is make a double shot of it iced and it was better but yeah, it oddly loses its punch cold. Hot as a latte with a tear of simple syrup it's delicious. I'm curious about the new double espresso you Americans have, Cafecito de Puerto Rico. The profile on the US Nespresso site sounds right up my alley. ;)
This pod sounds so interesting. I typically don’t buy Vertuo espresso pods because I use my OL for single espresso shots. Maybe I’ll have to make an exception?? ☕️
Cereal usually equates to a taste of like Cheerios, or like mini wheats…to me anyway. As far as woody, for this it’s almost like taking a smell and converting it to a taste. So like a wet 2x4 being cut, that woody wet wood smell has now become a taste…. Anyway I hope that helps.
Can I have a question? I have original line and it's perfect. Recently, I bought Vertuo machine and whatever pod I try, it tastes so bitter.... I was so excited for this machine, because I love original line and thought the Vertuo will be really cool,but so far I'm disappointed. I don't know what do. I tried Solelio,level 2 and it's still so bitter,even it clearly tastes weak. Is it just me,or is something wrong?
Hello, I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with your machine or the taste it’s giving you. I don’t know which one you purchased but if you got the Vertuo Plus it tends to produce a more “bitter” taste, the next tends to be slightly less “bitter”. Overall Nespresso does make a more bitter cup of coffee, but it shouldn’t be dramatically bitter. I would try using purified water, see if that changes it, I know harder water tends to bring out bitter notes. So maybe load it with purified water run a clean cycle and then try a cup again. Post back what you try or what happens. Thanks for the question.

You put waaaayyyy too much milk and chocolate syrup for one of nespresso watered down version of an espresso. Especially it being one shot! Their espresso is a joke.

Come on chocolate syrup yuck. It is not a strong pod love the froth of your milk caramel creamy texture. The oils in the coffee make it linger more.
