I love Forest Almond! (OL) It has a great almond flavor, the fruit was much more in the background for me. A pinch of sugar (like 2 grams per shot), milk and half&half really brings out the sweet almond flavors, hot or cold. One shot each of Forest Fruit and Almond combined together reminded me of a cherry kringle (with sugar, milk, half&half)
Both the almond and fruit variations are definitely dessert coffees. I haven't tasted the original line version but the vertuo version of the almond is most definitely nicer than the Amaretti from last year, more subtle, less artificial punch. With a dash of almond creamer (or some Disaronno velvet for a truly decadent treat) it's actually quite good to me. They just released gingerbread here so let's see how it stacks up from the previous versions...
For me, Amarretti was much much better in taste. It has a hint of vanilla with almont and very strong flavoured coffee. I always was drink it with italian sweet cream and missed these great moment😔 this forest almond was almost closed to hazelnut muffin pod but in almond way, and it is for me not good in terms of holiday flavour🥲
Mine just came yesterday was planning on having my first cup of this this morning….gonna pair it with vanilla….but I do got vodka….hmmmm 🧐 it’s 5:00 somewhere…LOL 😂. Thanks for the review!

Late to this party!! but I’ve come to realise I don’t like any nespresso flavour coffees apart from this pod, vertuo line. Did the same add vanilla to it tasted perfect! Defo a dessert coffee, think it could also be a good coffee to add to cakes and bakes.
Espresso martinis are so good but get dangerous when you have one too many 😉 I still don’t have my machine 😭 I have all the new releases and no machine to try them. It’s been over a week! I was hoping they would just replace it 🤷🏻♀️
I add milk and creamer, so need to be honest and say have a hard time recognizing a big difference between most pods (original line) unless it’s a fruity variety which aren’t my favs. Maybe it’s just me, but I usually can’t taste the cereal aspect if that’s in a pod description. I love your reviews and delivery and stay away from the pods you say have some bitterness. 😊
This vertuo pod tasted like drinking straight generic, artificial almond extract. Good news, Nespresso sent us a replacement sleeve of pods, free of charge!

For sure!! White sponge cake would be good. It Was good the other morning with banana chocolate chip bread.

Oh that is not good. Hound them, I believe they get your machine back and then ship a new one but I could be wrong.
