- Der Titel ist zwar englischsprachig, aber da im Film kein Wort gesprochen wird ist er dennoch für Jederman verständlich.
Die YAMAHA MT-07 ist zum Veröffentlichungstermin dieses Videos neu auf dem deutschen Markt und ich konnte bereits ein paar Kilometer mit ihr fahren. An dieser Stelle meine ganz persönliche Meinung: Ich bin begeistert! Die MT-07 entspricht in nahezu jeder Beziehung meinen Vorstellungen eines perfekten Motorrades.
Der Film zeigt in aller Kürze das Auspacken der MT-07, ein paar Fahrszenen und diverse Ansichten dieses begeisternden Motorrades.

@Chris: Why should we discuss wether an italian or japanese motorcycle is "better". You prefer Ducati, others do not. But at the end of the day we all just want to enjoy driving our motorcycle! By the way: a funny idea to compare the MT-07 with a Ducati. I never would!

I hope with you that it will be offered in USA soon. But even in Europe its hard to get one :( ! The motorcycle is cool, marketing is cool, but finally when you're hot, they can't deliver. Something went wrong! (June 2014)

fantastic bike , even better video ! best on youtube. I was either going to buy one of these in matt grey or the KTM's Duke 125cc , yes I know , bloody different but im 20 yrs old , couldent make my mind up about starting on a smaller bike or this beauty so went for the duke with an akrapovic on it , so ive at least got the sound of a 600. i think… haha !

Gurkengelb Hallo und Danke für die gute Frage. Es kommt darauf an ob das Motorrad verkauft oder ein Ausstellungsfahrzeug ist. Im ersten Fall wird es nach dem Auspacken sofort fahrbereit gemacht, vollgetankt und bereitgestellt. Andernfalls wird es zwar ebenfalls komplettiert, aber nicht betankt und auch die Batterie wird noch nicht komissioniert. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen. Viel Spaß mit der Neuen!

Hey, Limbo. I just ordered my matte black MT-07 ABS today. I can't wait to get to ride it! Is the MT-07 in your video A2 restricted or full power? My MT-07 is going to be A2 restricted for a year so it's only 35kW. Just wondering how well it goes restricted.

this MT-07 is a non restricted full power version. I can't say anything about how it goes restricted, but I think it might be enough to have fun :)

+OrionMine Thank you. Unfortunately thats not my MT-07, but as a YAMAHA mechanic I can say, that there are no problems known here. :)
Nice Video! I think its interesting that companies like Yamaha make these things to be nearly perfect yet cruisers still don't even get a fuel gauge!? This might actually convert me to sport tourers, a very beautiful bike! :-)

That's true, but many years ago. I remember XT and SR 500, the XS 650 and many others ;) But to be honest: I didn't show exactly all of the assembling! Thanks for watching :)
Does anyone know the difference between the normal version and the Moto cage?
To me it seems the Moto cage is just cheaper, but why?
lol motocage looks cheaper? no it doesnt..didnt you saw the accessoires on it lol..
Thehiphip, the Motocage is actually the more expensive one. It comes with the extra cage and engine support, hand guards and many more. Personally I like that one even though it is more expensive but not a fan of the Fluo color. They should atleast have the matt version or the race blu.

In my opinion it is definitely a good choice. But I recommend a testride!
Hi, I am riding the MT-07 in driving school, after I tried a few other bikes, but none of them "fit" properly. The MT-07 feels like a "glove" to your body and handles really smoothly. Try for yourself and see whether it works for you!

So far I have no calculated petrol consumption under real conditions. I think it will be about 4,5-5 ltr./100km. May be less. I will tell you later when the valves have to be checked.
It's not to bad on fuel then. Do you know when they need to be checked ? yl
The valves need to be checked every 40000km (24000miles). Intake: 0,11-0,20mm and Exhaust: 0,24-0,30mm.

I wish the matte grey didn't come with the huge silver bits down the side, on the lava red and night fluo they're black and it looks so much better. Only thing putting me off :(

Yes you can, if you reduce the power of the engine to 35kw. But ask your driving school to be sure ;)

ABS? I saw ABS label on the bike! is that a European only feature... I was in dealership looking at this bike (America) and they had several... NONE with ABS. FZ-07
I'm from Europe, and there are versions with/without abs for sale, difference in price is about 450$.
I'm thinking about getting one of these soon :)
@User0001 So far nowadays new motorbikes introduced in EU 2016+ Have to come with ABS. It has something to do with the regulation changes (if you google it, MCN has a good article about it). And this requires manufacturers to make ABS as compulsory for all new bikes. They also made emissions more strict or something. Thats why some manufacturers stopped selling certain bikes in EU and sell them only in markets that are good for them like in Asia.
Good example is like the 2017 Honda CBR250RR which is only available in Asia/Indonesia.

Die Unboxing-Idee hatte ich das erste Mal vor einem Jahr mit einer Street Triple R von Triumph. Da ich in einem Motorrad-Geschäft arbeite habe ich damit täglich zu tun und dachte das könnte die Motorradfahrer interessieren.
Das war leider nicht mein eigenes Motorrad, aber es gefällt trotzdem ;)

keine Sorge. Du nervst nicht.
Allerdings muss ich nochmal klarstellen, dass das nicht mein eigenes
Motorrad ist. Ich arbeite in einem Mottorradgeschäft und es handelte
sich dabei um die Anlieferung und Probefahrt der ersten MT-07, die
wir erhalten haben.
Bisher laufen alle MT's in unserer Kundschaft anstandslos und zuverlässig!
