If I had the money to travel anywhere in the world, it would be to go to Australia to watch sprint cars!! What a huge step in sprint car Racing that high limit will be going to australia. I know a lot Aussies aren't with it because of their speedweek, But it will bring competition, drama, tourism & It will force these tracks to step up their game It's actually a beautiful thing. ❤

The biggest problem with Australian Speedway is too many people have there own agenda and push a Barrow that suits themselves. The collapse of World Series Sprintcars highlights the problems that Australian Speedway suffers from. The tracks and clubs are the victims of this. Its fine for James to say the Classic should be $100K to win but WOW bear in mind that the Classic is run by a regional club and Australia has a population of 25 Million people so the corporate cash floating around in that population base is very hard to find for an event which is seen as secondary to AFL NRL or even Supercars and the like. One can only wonder if the 2025 Classic prize pool is not upto J-Macs standard will he race or will he high tail back to the US. High Limit is a US series and in reality probably should stay there, lets support Australian Tracks and Australian Series first.
Can’t blame anyone for following the cash but this just shows that speedweek will turn to shit now with the best cars going over there.
So JMac didn’t want to travel in Australia due to missing his family….mow he is based on the other side of Australia
Money side of things….somebody might want to remind him on the cost of living crisis?…. Who’s going to put the cash up all the time ?
Cost of living? He’s only going to Perth for the prize money. So who can blame him.
