Great video! I was always trying to find a video that shows the original speakers(i'm a bit skeptic that if i open the plastic cover i might damage it). 25 Watts and cardboard and no soundproofing. Your upgrade makes a great difference. Good work!

Great video, thanks! I'm planning to replace the door speakers with a more powerful 6.5" subwoofer with 12cm mounting depth. What do you think, does it fit the original place? Do you remember the place behind the original speaker?

Shane Longmuir hi. These are not amplified. I just added silent coat and then a layer of Dodo mat on top 👍🏻

Do you know if there is a app. for the Transit that has say a 10 band EQ ? I find if anything the treble speakers have way too much presence around 12 K. With the 3 band standard EQ this is not possible to fix.
