Awesome layout & nice diorama, the only thing is that the curve & cornering is quiet tight with small radius. It will look nicer & realistic if you make it a bigger radius, tbh.
I love your layout and all the fleets, I have half of the collection myself. 🚄😀Love that F-40 PH! A job well done keep those videos rolling, I enjoyed watching! Wow!
Those electrics like the HHP8 carrying freight is a common thing in Europe though. I'd definitely want to see them doing freight jobs in America again like the Conrail GG1s in the 70s. The ACS-64 would've been a great (if not perfect) candidate.
Very nice! I live and the northeast corridor and your layout is quite prototypical aside from the acela pulling ore consists. Often times if you keep your eyes peeled, you will come across a amtrak genesis in the new haven mcginnis paint scheme. I highly suggest to get one they are gorgeous compared to modern day engines. And it adds variety without disrupting the prototypical nature of your layout. I know there is an o scale model, but i’m sure there is an HO. Happy railroading!
Awesome equipment, very nice layout, I like how you have have a few AEM-7s, HHP-8's and an Acela Express set. I've had some trouble finding those Amtrak AEM-7s in the past.
Awesome layout and equipment! Just subscribed! Love the museum train! Are those the cars they were selling in the gift shop? by the way, your profile photo is awesome!
Thanks for watching. Yes those were the cars they were selling with the gift shop with the exception of the cafe car, that was an old car i had already that i decaled up as the store car. I will subscribe back. Thanks again.
ok. couple questions for you. First.. what manufacture did you use for the poles and wires? Next.. are they powered? i've got several amtrak aem 7's and want to run them like this.
Ebay is a good place to look, the set i have is made by Veissman, i believe i bought it through an online store, it may have been an import dealer, try a google search, you'll find some, but it is a little pricey, especially if u have alot of trackage. Happy hunting.
Same with most of my locomotives. The ones that are will likely be upgraded to dcc someday, the ones that have dcc or dcc/sound will be ran on dcc. That is why I plan on keeping one track dc, while the other will be dcc. But, dc is also fun because you can run just about any locomotive on it.
I think about after the 100th train we kinda got the idea......try some different views of your layout.....the description isn't quite what you say it is.....I would like to see more if your layout not just 1 turn
my layout is small, 4x6, made a montage clip of trains simulating the corridor, have some room for imagination, commenting something like "after the 100th train we kinda got the idea" is unneeded . Other views of my layout are limited and this view offers the best vantage point. If you are unhappy with my video content then please move on.

where did you get the viewliner? I can only find them in n
DJ KnightLight I got them years ago when they were available from walthers
acela2030
Great job. The HHP8 carrying the freight was strange but still creative and I like
Teh angry bird 345 thank you

Teh angry bird 345 it is freight but looks more like a ballast train to me
That’s because it is a ballast train on the beginning it said that.
How can I get Amtrak trains fast, easy, and cheap?
Afraid it's not that easy, if you want equipment that works, anyway.
2:24 I don’t thinkI’ve ever seen this happen.
Sashin Gopaul yea
Sashin Gopaul me neither
Same
Me neither
nice job on the accuracy of the train consists! great work!
Very cool! Seeing that F40PH made my day.
Nice representation of Amtrak traffic on the N.E. corridor except for the Acela locomotive pulling ore car consists.
Great layout and video man!
thank you
Hello. Would you be able to tell me where you got the SEPTA cars from?? I am trying to build mine.
Chris Belizaire you have to look in ebay. keep an eye out!

This video is so entertaining to watch! very relaxing! Must be a fun train layout. post more videos of it!!
Richard F thank you, im glad you enjoyed it, i do want to get more layout compilations up soon
Great job this is precise to the boston amtrak yard great job.
I like this video a lot 👍
How do you make your overhead cantenary wire?
+JoeyLovesTrains (NorthShoreLine) Its a pre-made system by Veissmann, a European import.
I like model trains whoever put this on TH-cam I like what you doing bring some more of that and the model train on TH-cam keep it 100
Where did you get the viewliners from? I've wanted to set up the crescent with an E60MA and I needed a few viewliners.
1:30 a P42 or even worse, Norfolk Southern locomotive rescuing an HPP8 used to be a common sight on the NEC.
How did you get the AEM-7 and the sleeping and dining cars???
Would you sell the AEM-7?
I have HO Scale Amtrak and csx trains too.
Andrey
you need to replace those #4 switches for some #8 man but other then that nice layout
RIP the AEM-7 you will be missed
Awesome layout!
Amazing ! Subbed :)
You forgot the e60s
💞Wow🤍🤍💛💛💛💛🤍💛
Super! But I don't like the track curve's and that's because they are to sudden! In real life don't exist that thing.
Connor Witengier I reported his comment

Most Awesome Vid!!!!!
2:18 wrong panel grift
Wow cool I like the exhibit train and the other heritage I’m getting an HO 642 :)
Meeper5 RailFanning awsome, I have all 4 acs64 on order
4!?
I thought is was only phase 5 and veterans
Meeper5 RailFanning they offer 2 numbers in phase 5 , veterans, and a flag demo unit
Oh ok I wish I had this many model trains
Where is the Acs-64
AWESOME
One of the nicest hobbies one could invest in......lucky people who love to celebrate trains.
Acela
An HHP8 hauling freight? If only.
The actual wheel & rail sound effects very authentic
Ice age
The turns are too tight, not enough room. Other than that it was a good layout.
Seeing that AEM-7 with ditch lights made my day
Where did u get all the engines and cars
I love the HH-P8 from yours
cool trains.
Andrey
What is the number on the AEM-7?
Zeffers716 921
Awesome equipment, very nice layout, I like how you have have a few AEM-7s, HHP-8's and an Acela Express set. I've had some trouble finding those Amtrak AEM-7s in the past.
Thank you, :) there are a few AEM7-7s on ebay. That seems to be the best route to get them unless you find one or two in the train show circuit.
Atlas is rereleasing them
Awesome layout and equipment! Just subscribed! Love the museum train! Are those the cars they were selling in the gift shop? by the way, your profile photo is awesome!

acela2030 Cool! Thanks for subscribing!
acela2030 nice catch on the heritage unit with the new viewliner luggage cars.
Very nice layout also
ok. couple questions for you. First.. what manufacture did you use for the poles and wires? Next.. are they powered? i've got several amtrak aem 7's and want to run them like this.
+Tcaauwe2002 The catenary system is a european import made by Veissman, it can be powered but mine is not.
That's a nice layout! Who made the Acela train in the beginning?
+Mike D Bachmann makes the Acela and HHP-8
Incorporate a derailment once in a while to complete the Amtrak experience
Lol. That’s messed up.
The coolest video ever
Broken down HHP-8, very funny.
s0nnyburnett so true though. HHP-8 locomotives were never that reliable.
Nice video
Awwwsome !!!
trains
Is their a PFD or plan for this layout?
no, i just made it up on my own, simple 4x6 double track loop with one crossover and a small yard area
Awesome
What radius do u run on
24" outside 22" inside
2:17 why is the acela pulling coal cars and even a caboose?
That’s an HPP-8 not an acela
BadmingtonSunset is right, usually it would be an amtrak dash 8 or gp38 pulling those but why not get creative lol
maybe ill use a amtrak switcher for that
0:42 what is that train?
Kristie Beals hello, that is a Sperry rail inspection train, they use it to looks for defects in the rails.
are they real?
are they electric or are they diesel?
Do you have power in the over head
no, only the track is powered.
stepanie arrera try looking on modeltrainstuff.com or scaletrains.com
yo do the cats really work or are u using track power
Catenary is unpowered, i run on track power, however i can run off the wire if i wanted to.
oh ok where can i get a cats system from
Ebay is a good place to look, the set i have is made by Veissman, i believe i bought it through an online store, it may have been an import dealer, try a google search, you'll find some, but it is a little pricey, especially if u have alot of trackage. Happy hunting.
oh thanks for info
we need more!! this was awesome
Is your layout dcc?
No, its just DC, one power pack on each track with blocking for the yard.
Same as my layout. But, I'm upgrading my layout to dcc sometime this week. Have you ever considered upgrading to dcc?
Well, most of my locomotives are not dcc ready, so i dont think ill be upgrading in the near future. perhaps on a larger layout in the future.
Cool, good luck with your DCC conversion. Im looking forward to national train day saturday, nothing like a visit to south station.
I think about after the 100th train we kinda got the idea......try some different views of your layout.....the description isn't quite what you say it is.....I would like to see more if your layout not just 1 turn

acela2030 my apologies.....thought your layout was much larger......the speed on the turn is unrealistic
