    I tried this recipe and it's sooooo good!!! I made mine with mushroom instead of pork and used boy choy, egg, thinly sliced onlions and red chili pepper. I love it!!

    Japanese cooking is so precise not to mention very delicious. Its like an art for them

      Oh well... It actually depends what country you re in. Im Italian, along with Japanese food we probably are in the top 5 kitchens in the world. Surely, it's hard to say cooking is an art in US or UK, but there still are white flies who are absolutely amazing at it!

    For at home it's a very good and short version recipe. But for the real full of taste broth which is the most important part you won't come around cooking it fully selfmade with 3-6 hours of cooking time minimum

    • @HidetoraToujou
      @HidetoraToujou 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe If you were making some kind of bone broth like pho or to tontaksu. Those need to be simmered for a jillion hours. Miso doesnt

    • @ErenaaLamb
      @ErenaaLamb 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HidetoraToujou Miso does it too. Search for any real Miso recipe with chicken base and you will see that it needs to be cooked for 3 hours at least just like any other base, otherwise the ingredients won't be able to transfer the taste to the broth. You always need to do that when you do your broth, no matter which one, without instant mixes. The tare, which is here miso, doesn't play any role to that.

    Love this recipe! Definitely making it this weekend! Did you use unsalted chicken stock? I only have salted- would that make the dish too salty?

    • @justonecookbook
      @justonecookbook  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My chicken broth from Trader Joe's is less sodium. You have to adjust based on your chicken stock. If yours are salty, reduce the amount of chicken stock and add water to balance. Something I can't predict as we all use different ingredient/stock. :) It's important to taste and then season. xoxo
