How changing the sprocket setup changes the power delivery and other stuffs like impact on bottom end torque, acceleration, mid range, top end power, fuel efficiency. If possible, you can try changing sprocket front may be in apache rtr 200 to check the performance in the above-mentioned aspects. I think this will be a good topic from engg. point of view also. bro i have apache 200 2017 model without abs in chandigarh...at that time abs model was not available..but the dealer told me that abs can be fitted later also as tvs has provided space for it...but now they are saying that abs can't be fitted? so can it be done in other tvs agenies in bigger cities like delhi?
You would have to check the size of the clutch plate housing. If it is same in size you can surely fit. But I think rtr 160 has a smaller clutch housing.
Hi, As already mentioned by @Nobody's Angel, I doubt the dimension of clutch shaft is same on both the engines. Last time I enquired with TVS service they said the clutch shaft is different.
I have seen our local tvs install the slipper clutch from 200 4v in the new 160 4v and old apache 180. They also said it could be installed in the old 160. It was a direct replacement and it works just as well, if not better. The slipper clutch costs rs.2050, you have to pay for the service charges and also new engine oil as it has to be drained.
acording to parts catalogs of rtr180 and rtr200 4v, they share the same gearbox and input / output shafts part numbers, so its possible the clutch fitment on the 180.

Yes, version 2.0 comes with slipper clutch as standard but version 1 RTR 200 didn't have slipper clutch.

Have you checked the air filter and sparkplug. Make sure the chain is adjusted for correct slack. Finally you can tune your carb accordingly 😊
