Bro if I install K&N air filter does my mileage takes beating...already my Apache 160 2v giving just 36kms
Not really...it depends upon how you tune your carburettor for performance or decent pick up...as u know k&N air filter is for performance boost...as air flow increases it helps to burn fuel at high rate...but u have to tune it for correct air fuel mixture...normal tendency is we have to increase fuel supply also to compensate extra air provided by air filter...so 2-3km is expected to go up and down...it depends how carb is tuned

@modifire: Glad you made this video..keep an eye on clutch plate assembling (as all clutch plates are not same in design) and Judder spring placement.. If done wrong, it will spoil the slipper clutch and wear out plates faster.. Refer to this video for clutch plates assembly (made during training at Indonesia)..

For those who has queries wrt reliability of this, I have done this setup on my rtr a year back which has been modified to 200cc with 4 valve head setup which ran around 10k before installing slipper clutch, and after adding slipper clutch I have done around 15k kms and it's smooth as hell and power delivery has improved significantly over stock clutch and power is instant.. Thanks to TVS who kept contiguity with their parts, so previous owners can also keep their motorcycle for long....

Why last plate of different slot like regular clutch?
I tried installing with all plates but it did not give me optimised experience of slip and engage after that i installed on plate in opposite direction and now it’s working fine...also I confirmed with no of tvs expert’s and they also confirmed that that is the method for apache

Is slipper clutch runs hotter than normal clutch when in action, or the life of clutch plates is less than normal
Not really...as normal clutch it depends up on how much you use engine breaking...as normal clutch didn’t have slipping mechanics it wear much quicker than slipper clutch...as long as you use in right manner life of slipper clutch more than normal clutch...but if someone deside to wear it out with half clutch engagement it ll wear and become hot but not as much as normal clutch...cos of slip and engage mechanism
@@Modifire2020 hey bro, thanx for replying, by the way , i need slipper clutch for different purpose like experiment, just wanted to know during harsh downshifting and when the clutch is preventing tyre to lockup, does it heat during working or just slips and not forming any frictional force until tyre matches engine speed. I have installed slipper Clutch on my 160 4v 2022 today . Gearbox is so hard , bike never falls into " N " without turning engine off.
And my service guy told that 200 4v and 160 4v looks like same Cluth bell ( but have a slight change ) and he showed me that both of them have different part no .
Finally installed the previous one . Almost 3 k Rs 🚀🚀😖

No bro...its not that simple...for your understanding...apache 180 bs4 makes problems while installing slipper clutch as some clutch cover housing is different than 160...so xtreme is another company’s product it is not possible to install in xtreme...until unless hero introduce slipper clutch for their bikes in that case we can try on xtreme...

Yes...i have researched that...200 and 390 clutch assembly is different...also ktm is fully operational by ECU...slipper clutch perform with the help of ecu in 390...390’s slipper clutch is not plug and play in 200...sorry bro
that's the first bad thing what i found about rc200 ,over other bikes in this segment such as r15 v3 and Apache 200 which offer slipper clutch, actually i own a ktm rc200 but loved R15 only because of such a beautiful clutch installed in it,

Differentiate all in segments bikes of ktm itself...but they dont understand that rc is for that hardcore racing and they should given slipper clutch in rc200 and it does not cost that more than regular clutch to them...but what say...these things irritate me thats why modifications came along to come over such company limitations...

Yep but u have to use clutch...it is different that auto blipper and cluthless shifting...just your rear tyre is not going to lock at sudden downshifts
