- It's warming up so it's time to hit the road! We packed up the Spider and headed south to Charleston, SC. Once we arrived, we checked in to the Francis Marion Hotel and give our review!

Charleston is the reason we found Garden. Hurricane took out Charleston and dad drove up the coast till we found accommodations. We didn't know we were at Myrtle Beach till we left to go home... memories

Hey Steve I didn't realise this video was up until now! This 1927 hotel seemed great once you managed to get all of your luggage in and drive there! That was funny. hi I will be staying there in July. do you think we need to rent a car to get around?
It depends....If you are staying in the area around the Francis Marion Hotel and plan to stick to the historic area, everything is walkable (within 1 to1.5 miles of each other) but this area is far from the airport. (Airport is in the north side of the city). We did not use our car to get around during our trip and we walked to everything you see in the video. Have a great time and thanks for watching!
