Paul, you are simply amazing, your best life is yet to come. ❤ Hunter, thank you too for being great at not interrupting Paul while he poured out his heart to us.
Seven minutes into this am I’m thinking about the 7/8 yr old me who visited me Nana in the hospital almost everyday for a year before she died after she had a stroke also the over eating for comfort and pulling my hair out all before I was ten yrs old then became an addict in my 20s now in recovery and see a therapist Thank you for sharing Paul and Hunter will keep listening
Hes related to me by blood.i remember cousin Paul in AA mtgs not once did he share.i got got step 1 and 2 by getting on my knees and asked god for help x
That was brilliant and so informative.Thank you for your story, Paul and to Hunter, who let him speak without interrupting. I have always wondered for anybody looking to get sober-is it best to start off with therapy with a recommended therapist ( and which therapy?-I read about EMDR) or should the person head to a 12 steps program? Or a combination of both? Thanks
12 steps start talking about a "greater power" IE a god or something else nonsensical. Cold turkey it. Go to the Highlands. No tech. Hike. Hard but you can do it.
Very open (fair play to you, Paul) and great interviewer
