- Hi guys, a sudden surprise video of me reviewing the new 2021 Kawasaki W800 BS6 model. Going by its modest looks, I didn't expect the bike to be this good. Watch my reaction as I ride and test the W800 to my heart's content before giving you my verdict.

Great review , love the speed test and your raw emotions / fun. I now own a 2020 w800 street and after 3 weeks of ownership I’m thoroughly in love . Apart from the silver side panels that look out of place colour wise, it’s flawless in my eyes, perhaps the Meguro k3 is nicer at a stretch.
My daily video ! I am in love.. Literally.. everything, the switches, headlights, tail lights, tank, exhaust, seat ergo, gear box and finally that engine, A 360 degree crank being cooled by air. A bevel driven valve train, which is the easiest when it comes to clearances. A compression ratio of 8.4:1 signifying its effortlessness. Machines are truly humanities greatest creations after all ..

So after Street-Twin & Bonneville This is my Favourite Bike...
I'm glad this guy vouched for the performance. I just got a 2019 cafe new, and after breaking it in and going full throttle, the thing really pulled hard. I was pleasantly surprised. A lot of torque especially down low. Can't wait to get exhaust and add a few extra HP

If this bike had an aggressive aerodynamic fairing and design unlike a retro roadster the top speed would be more due to less drag but yes more weight would add on to it

Syed Asim@ this bike has a bevel driven valve train. No push rods. I don't think Dino mentioned that.
Dino - I love this video, you "get" this bike! I have the same bike and am crazy happy with it. So many people look at the spec sheet and dismiss this bike as slow. The W650 and W800s easily outperforms the spec sheets. I love riding this bike. Thanks again, Dino and greetings from Canada.

company claimed is 177kph. It will go beyond that easily.

Can we compare W800 with Triumph T100?
Dino is so right - it goes like a bomb! Cf. T100: I had a 2019 T100 which seemed to break into a sweat at 70mph, but now my W800 Cafe cruises easily between 70-80 with a crack of throttle in the overdrive 5th gear and 4500rpm. In 4th from 70 it takes off even more strongly. Low down, it picks up strongly from 2000rpm too, which is 40mph in 5th or 30mph in 4th. The comparative figures for power and torque are very misleading because it feels much more lively, and much lighter than T100, as when pushing it around garage or car park.
For me at 5ft 10.5" the Cafe's fairing worked really well to cut down wind blast & turbulence but the original ace bars were uncomfortable. LSL clubman bars and a riser made riding position and seat luxurious but spoiled the turbulence, only slightly relieved by a windscreen extender. Pm me if you would like the specs of the parts used and all details to make these low cost modifications easy, because it did require some cable routing changes, and exactly what parts were used.

Your helmet and jacket is too loud for the retro w800 .. next time please consider these little bits 😁

@Hari Dharsham - Yes, this bike has a side stand engine cut off. Put it in gear with the side stand down, the engine shuts off.

Hi dino should I buy the new apache 200 riding modes or the best in class tvs ntorq scooty of super squad or race edition, recently sold my bs4 ntorq matte green due to handle bar jumping issues of front tyre and several other fiber body internal damage issues,kindly suggest me what should I choose my mom says to purchase scooty not the bike for future convience,my dad already have Jupiter so should i go for apache or aprilla scooty which is very pricy

Interceptor is a shitty bike. Open OLX and you will see many ads selling it without even clocking 1000kms.
A close look at the quality of both shows that the Kawi is a step higher.

that' ride was very dangerous. imagine some animal jump in the way and no time to brake. or some autorickshaw going at 40kph speed ahead. you'll see yourself flying in air before you understand what happened.

You have no taste for modern retro classics and it's fine. There are people who love to have modern retro as they have character. Unlike your Ninja 650, which is nice motorcycle but no character.
