      Honestly, that I think that DIY sunscreens from Etsy might be the way to go... They are environmentally friendly, non-toxic and muchhh cheaper. Some videos I watched say that the zinc can clump together though. But perhaps you could put these DIY mixtures in your blender every so often to ensure that they stay well mixed?

      Etsy or That Elderberry Lady is very good for herbal syrups, sun block and ect. If you need herbs or other ect, mountain rose herbs is the most affordable and best to buy from. Just don't buy so much at one time, spread it out some :)

    • @holmstromnj
      @holmstromnj 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@user-zh2cx9vv2s I've been following Hyram for a long time, and HollisticHabits, but she tends to lean towards the essential oils and fragrances in everything! I and many others can't handle that much fragrance, organic or not, on the skin. (esp the face) Good advice: and to add to it, Hyram - for those who don't know - does budget friendly, organic, vegan, and environmentally friendly products that are good for sensitive skin. Fragrance free of course.

      Even though it's really expensive compared to other brands, I tried a sample of the josh rosebrook daily nutrient spf cream and i have really sensitive finicky skin, and it was super calming and probably the best spf product I've ever used. It even helped with breakouts..! I think that it really depends on the person for specific ingredients and determining what is actually sensitizing. Like for me some of the most unsuspecting ingredients are sensitizing. For natural products it's good to research the method by which essential oils are made like for instance, if they are steam distilled (like lemon), they can be much less sensitizing or phototoxic. I will say though I never bought that cream because I am determined to find a cheaper one lol

    For any Americans (sarah is canadian and target isnt in canada) I recommend the mineral kids sunscreen that's the generic target brand. I'm not sure if it looks good on darker skin tones but you get 10 oz for about 6 dollars and it works great, not too greasy or anything.

I started to wash my hair once a week ( I oil my hair on Friday nights and wash it on Sunday mornings followed by hair ironing). I have wavy hair I cannot go without ironing it becomes unmanageable. I do your split end treatment. I already feel my hair is doing good (my hair is long but not thick) my target is balanced thick and long hair. One thing I miss out is hair mask. I will definitely start that too.. wish me good luck and send me some positive vibes.. 😊 thanks ❤️❤️

    My problem is I am on pretty Intense acne medication (that’s working very well) and it caused me to be VERY sun sensitive, so I need to use an extremely powerful sunscreen. But because I’m in cross country and in the sun a lot i still get SUPER sunburnt. Even with spf 100 zinc

    • @SarahhhBeth
      @SarahhhBeth 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lola Cook do you reapply frequently while you’re outside? You could be sweating quite a bit off it off! But I completely understand the struggle! When I go to the beach, it doesn’t matter how much sunscreen I apply and how often I apply, I’m going to get at least a little burnt. Just imagine what it would be like without the sunscreen! You could also try other sunscreens to see if they work better at protecting your skin!! I really like the sun bum spf 50 for face! It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and it doesn’t break me out!

    I have a question about your hair... obviously you have lots of it, but are the strands fine or thick? I ask this because I have fine hair but LOTS of it and I have a lot of trouble keeping it voluminous when long because the weight of my hair keeps my strands sitting flat. Do you have any advice for girls with heaps of hair like yourself but have fine strands? There's not much helpful information on youtube yet unfortunately. Any hair masks, showering or styling tips?

      I Wish that natural face products didn't have so many essential oils, I use mostly natural ingredientes but the ones with essential oils (orange, lavender etc) are so irritating, harsh, and don't belong on the face 😑

    • @blue3374
      @blue3374 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GardenMinistry. Agreed. That's why I don't think everything and anything "organic" and "natural" is better.
      Especially as someone with sensitive skin, fragrances and essential oils are a hard no for me.
