Awesome bear! But more than that, what an encouraging video for someone like myself who is a Christ follower first and an aspiring chainsaw carver second! Thank you for posting this video! It gives me a lot of hope!
Nice work, good-looking bear! I'm watching over and over to learn your steps and cuts. Cheek cuts are my stumbling point, any pointers? Thank you greatly for sharing your work!
@@frankmartin-adirondackcampcab sorry for the late response, make your muzzle cuts from the front in the shape of a stop sign about 4-6" deep the n stand on the side of the bear or even behind the shoulder and align your cheek plains 90deg to the muzzle stop cuts. Dont try and cut the cheeks from the front where you depth cut the muzzle but move to the side or behind the shoulder, it feels like your cutting blind at first but watch for the sawdust to spit out the muzzle cut you made from the front
I just made one of finish bear carving and an eagle carving on Monday keep checking as I plan on loading videos once a week, thanks for the subscription
You got it man I’m doing 30 ft of carving right now and will upload a video this week after i install it Which is why I haven’t been uploading as it’s taking me about five or six weeks to finish and has seven large salmon two otters a kingfisher in about a half dozen little trout with a bunch of water and rocks and bubbles it’s a porch entrance where the fish are swimming up on the left across on the top piece and down on the right column I can’t wait to show it
Nice looking bear. Thanks for the video.
