Fuel filler door does not lock, and the gas cap is spring loaded, like they use on race cars. It is non removable. Nissan engineers and designers, what were you thinking?🤦♂️ Went to check out these 2025 models at my local dealership today, as they are finally trickling in. Left the dealership quite disappointed. The non locking fuel filler door is an automatic no go and a hard pass for me. I can't imagine what the designers and engineers were thinking.
Exactly. In Canada it starts at 29K. Talk about a cheap car. This new Kicks is just bigger and (mater of taste) more stylish with a very little more powerful engine. It has become another boxy 35K $ SUV.
This car sorely needed this update. Buying a Nissan with a CVT is a gamble.
All in the segment has CVT: Kona, Seltos, Corolla Cross, HR-V. All of them use CVTs.
@@gustavojoseperezlopez2928 Nissan cvt’s are notorious

Love the new appearance! I'm just holding out for the turbo powered NISMO variant! Thanks for the review!
*chef's kiss* at the pun-reaction "booooo!" hahahahaha
better a celeration than the honda hrv?????? hrv is pretty loud when accelerating!!!
Nice styling but such low power means it’s an urban/suburban cruiser. Competes with a honda hrv but underpowered compared to a subaru crosstrek.
30,000+?

Why is this an issue? Is gas theft really all that common?
@@columbo47, yes, here in Hawaii it is definitely a very serious problem.
@@garrettyamada9821 Interesting! I had no idea.
It's not cheap. That exact SR AWD premium cost $41k cdn 🤯
