As a huge Monster Hunter fan I've been really enjoying end game. If you're in it just for story, yeah wait for a sale. But I've been waiting so long I wanted to support Cygames as much as possible and I feel it was worth the wait and the price I paid.
I don’t plan to play this. Looked great from the trailers but found the gameplay dull in all honesty 😕 just a bit meh but I realise I’m likely in a minority haha
I think my one complaint of the game is what isn’t there, not what is. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are beautiful, the music is a banger and there are lots of cool characters. Admittedly what is lacking is just me wanting more. More story, more islands, more characters, more content. However what is there is done really well. This game was worth the wait so hopefully this makes cygames invest further in this type of game.
this game is the definition of what GENSHIN COULD HAVE BEEN ... I stopped playing genshin (around at the start of inazuma update) after what the developer did to the community not wanting to give harder content but instead giving me a useless and the most boring mini games ever ... so I stopped playing genshin for around 2-3 years now ... and suddenly GRANDBLUE shows up on my youtube ... I click it and OMG ... THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER, and the best part is that this is not a live service game and it's not a gacha game WOW. this game is 10/10 for me
Granblue Fantasy Relink is also the reason I stopped playing Genshin Impact too. This game is so much more polished than Genshin and doesn’t repeat itself so much as Genshin either
The reason relink isnt a gacha game is because ....it originates from a gacha game. Cygames had always aimed to break into the console market,and while they have better earning gachas by now (cough uma musume cough),the original gbf is less than a week away from its 10th anniversary. They love the world and its characters and it shows in the care and love that went into relink. Matter of fact,the currently ongoing in the anniversary event actually makes a small reference to relink.
I got pretty interested while watching this, but.. there is NO DEMO available for PC. :/ I don't wanna spend 60 bucks before playing a demo version first. Especially since my laptop isn't all that new anymore and my internet speeds suck. There's nothing more annyoing than downloading a giant game for half a day just to find out, that it doesn't run well. 😅
did anyone else find the demo super confusing, convoluted and overwhelming...? i played the story demo and completed it. the choice i made, they smack you in the middle of a goblin raid . and suddenly youve got 4-5 characters all shouting and doing their catch phrases, magic and attack animations flying everywhere, especially if you do combos. it just felt like A LOT! this is coming from someone who knows nothing about the franchise
I've been loving this game as well, the end game grind is so real especially if you're building multiple characters. The boss battles have been really challenging in a good way. Good points in the vid!
I don't understand why you have to beat a game to get a special character, just like SMT 5 beat the game to get special fusion, i want everything b4 endgame so I can end the game lol. You went to level 100 you real good, I just can't take all tht grinding. All & all awesome game can't wait to play it & see what you guys reviews missed.

Just got my 6th terminus weapon last night, awakening my Ferry weapon and still waiting for Sieg one. Still addicted till today. The town NPC alsoreally felt alive and some of them has funny and cute details into it, like the couple in folca where they reunite after few quest you do.
I hope there's an option to hide or lessen the effects of your team... I Have this scenario where I teamed up with 3 narmaya + my Narmaya, i end up messing up my rotation cause i cant see the move of my character when to switch stance.
Was able to beat story in short time i liked the game already and really want to play more BUT my little sister took my ps5 to my older sister just for her stupid shooting game
Touched on all the stuff that I enjoyed and the stuff that’s making me keep thinking about the game/making me want to jump back in after ‘beating’ it. And menus are important! Glad you mentioned that haha.
I'm legit addicted to this thing. 74 hours in and I still haven't done any Manic quests, just started an Ultimate difficulty story run, haven't maxed out a single character (I've spread out my MSP a lot) and still have 6 characters to unlock and have only really "mastered" (kind of) ONE SINGLE CHARACTER (Zeta).

I am really enjoying this game and while I know this game will eventually be overshadowed by the upcoming Final Fantasy Rebirth, I am glad this game is getting the attention it deserves. I was actually looking more forward to this game than I was Final Fantasy because I was waiting on this game for years. And the gameplay didn’t disappoint me at all. I can wait on Final Fantasy while enjoying this.
Solid review! I have put so many hours into GBR and still want to play it more. I enjoy making my characters as strong as possible and find it satisfying to defeat fights that used to give me trouble much easier once geared up more. Very fun game, Vane is quite fun, but Yodarha is my main.

Mind you, I don't think this game or any of the games or devs I mention are bad, they just don't work for me. Relink = What if Mihoyoverse made a Dauntless/Monster Hunter game. The game never ends AND it also ends whenever you feel like putting it down. It's as fun and as pretty as you'd imagine from a mashup like that but at the same time you're primarily playing it so you can get an extra 1% of whatever stat so you're stronger so you can play it more.
So many people wanna complain about the grind but it's so casual friendly and fun. If I never get WE or supp sigils that's fine, I've still got plenty of characters to run

I absolutely love Granblue Fantasy Relink. Bought the physical deluxe edition which was money well spent. Such a well crafted game
I was on the fence about getting this game but what actually made me buy it was hearing the ost, End of Ragnarok in specific. Now I'm hooked 😂

Love the towns as well, Seedhollow might be one of the most beautiful and detailed towns I have seen in a JRPG. The music is also gorgeous.

A lot of the environments are hand painted. It has this watercolor style which is so pleasing to the eye! 😊

All very solid reasons to love this game. But the MAIN reason I love it is the combat is PEAK!
I just turned off my ps5 after playing this game for hours. I just unlocked Ferry and now I have a new character to focus on

Ferry looks like she plays similar to Furina from Genshin. Rosetta like Persephone from Smite. I'm keen

50Hs in and the end game is hard haha and so is the grind but I love how different the characters are. Really keep things fresh.
The bosses remind me of older God of War bosses and that is very good thing.
Is it worth it to buy the game to play alone, just with the AI characters? Even for the postgame grind
Yep, the AI are actually good. They mostly perfect dodging and parry than average players. 😂
