    I’ve been doing TH-cam since 2012 (80k subs now) and always been also working a full time corporate job during the week. I just take a day off work every month and batch film that day, and then edit nights/weekends and schedule it all out for the month ahead. 👍 It’s hard at first but becomes a way of life after a while.

      Love this!! Congrats to you on the grind and finding a schedule that works for you! If you haven’t check out our 100k business plan I think that is something that would benefit you as far as the business side of TH-cam.

    I love what you guys are doing, and respect your ability to grow this channel so quickly by helping others with your knowledge.
    That said, I do think it's important to make the cavaet that in this world of "youtube is on 'easy mode': no/low editing" advice, it is very niche specific. If you're building some sort of educational / tutorial style niche, then you can absolutely take advantage of the "easy mode" approach everyone is talking about these days. But if you're in certain niches trying to grow a channel (real estate, tech reviews, travel vlog, action sports, car enthusiasts) and take a no/low editing approach, you're gonna have a hard time competing in those spaces... unless you're incredibly charasmatic/entertaining.

      @livevideoschool  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I hear what you’re saying but don’t find that entirely true. We have worked with creators in a saturated niche that people would think “needs editing” and instead focused on the titles and had amazing results.
      Sometime it’s how you answer the pain points of the audience and are able to relate to it. Thank you so much for sharing this though and supporting the channel. I just feel like this model works for any niche especially because we’ve seen it happen!

      @livevideoschool that's fair, I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I do think it's less applicable for some niches/creators. Btw I'm not trying to be a contrarian here, just sharing my thoughts as I see this topic pop up a lot.
      I'll give my channel for example... I sell residential real estate to people relocating to my city, 100% coming through my YT channel. Im 2024, my channel has generated almost $7M in sales volume and an income well into 6 figures. The content I make is a combination of talking head content/vlog content, giving information about my city (which is what my prospective clients are researching - I'm simply providing answers to the questions they're seeking). Some videos get 500 views but often end up passing 1k or more over time... some have gotten 10s of thousands over time.
      The style of content I make is designed to be quirky, funny, entertaining and reasonably well produced, while showing my personality/how relatable I am in real life. Unfortunately this style I've created takes time to plan/produce/edit.
      The single most common thing I hear from people (aside from appreciate the information of my channel), is something along the lines of, "we watched a few other realtor channels in your city, but your videos are so much better/entertaining and professional so you were the obvious choice." So that's become very challenging for me to justify stripping down the production/preparation for my videos, as my channel has tripled my sales/income this year (year 2) vs 2023 (1st full year on YT) - coinciding with my video quality getting far better. For what it's worth, I see Realtors all the time making similar niche content targeting the same avatar, and never see success... and the biggest difference I see, is their videos/channel lacks the production quality of mine.
      Also worth noting, that while I totally agree that titles (and thumbnails) are SUPER important, truthfully I don't really WANT viral views simply for the sake of views. I have a very niche avatar (moving to my city, buying a home here), so if I have a video blast off because of "algorithmic favor" because of a fire title, it has the potential of landing thousands of views in front of the wrong people having the adverse effect.
      All that said, I now have a 2nd channel I'm planning which will be teaching other realtors around the country how to implement the principles/strategy that I have, in order to leverage YT for their real estate business. I DEFINITELY plan on utilizing more of a "lower editing" type approach to that channel, as it will be much more teaching concepts and sharing my knowledge from building a multiple 6 figure income leveraging the power of YT. My BIGGEST challenge in getting that channel started, is the demand of my main channel lol. It's a tough spot to be in.
      Thanks for reading my life story 🤣🤣

    I work full-time and make 1-2 short fitness videos a week. I don’t have the time to edit or the expertise so I’ve been paying someone. The problem is I only have 600 subscribers and it’s getting too expensive to keep it up.

    I mean this respectively but I don't understand how you guys are not fans of DoughDash's perceived casual editing style and now you are low key not a proponent of highly edited videos?

    • @livevideoschool
      @livevideoschool  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Never said we didn’t like the style of Dough Dash’s videos. We have been posting like this before her channel blew up. The only thing that we are saying is there’s no niche or long term content with her channel which may be an issue in the future. Just trying to help creators who think they can just post a random video and blow up that it’s not that simple even though that’s what she claims to preach
