Steady Garage started their mini bike journey with the Ruckus but they weren't the originator in the US it was Battlescooter that started it at the very beginning circa 2003 when the Ruckus first came out. Then it was BARC (BayAreaRuckusCrew) that was the original Ruckus crew in the US circa 2005. The ruckus didn't start to become popular in the US until around as the guy said just before 2010. Once the Ruckus became popular with the rice rocket crowd (popular) BARC ended cause they were the originals....just like how fashion and trends work once become popular the originators move on. It was about being non commercial and non conformist, a jab at the bigger is better mind set of motorcycles, not taking it too seriously.
I really enjoyed this video. But I think it’s disappointing that I didn’t see a stock DAX for comparison. This video is my first time seeing a HONDA DAX, so I kind of think I missed out.
More like concept art almost. The bone stock trail 125 and bone stock dax will be a great pairing of motorcycle. I think those two are better than the grom monkey and even xr150. The grom monkey xr150 wont he as easy to sell in the aftermarket. Tbe trail 125 and dax are very unique peculiar vehicles
@@TheAnnoyingBoss These are both new to me. Never heard anyone call the dog a “dash”hound. I’m pretty sure Honda intended the bike to be pronounced Dachs.
I agree, UGLY and missing the point of a classic, there's nothing there that make me want one, now if they stripped one back and added old school tech like the speedo and got rid of all the extra electrical crap and lightened it up like an old 60's Bonneville then you'd have my attention.
Straight up ruined it! Can’t even pretend to like it. Ugleeeeeeee af. This is what happens when you have someone that doesn’t “get it” or isn’t a fan of the ct70 to do the design. Don’t ruin the classic look!
Everything Steady garage touches turns to gold. They're amazing at what they do over there.
Picking mine up tomorrow. I put a deposit and getting it at Huntington Beach Honda!
Comes out right after I buy a trail 125
Trail 125 is ugleee as hell you should of got a Monkey bro
Should of bought a Honda monkey bro it’s way more classic of a design
Surprised no one said anything about the fact they removed the fuel injection.

Can't wait for the Dax to come out but I might wait for the following model year cause the first ones will only come in gray and blue.

Steady garage my favorite
awesome little toys
I'm looking forward to the new Dax, but neither of these do anything for me
Interesting designs. Albeit, not practical ones.

Auto Dax is more practical than you think.
Much better stock.
No way.. boring.
No Dachshund sticker on white one...fail.
Isn’t it pronounced “Docs” or “Dachs”? Honda used a dachshund logo on the original bikes.
Its pronounched "dashhound" as far as the weiner dog. As far as the bike its a dax like fax or saxophone.

A custom pit bike...

This is how you take a classic work of art and turn it into a hideous customization. 🤮
Ridiculous.
I Don't like what you did. It's awful
