S.D.I or "Star Wars" refers to the defense part of the US strategy against a nuclear attack called MAD or Mutually Assured Destruction. The doctrine's premise is that no one would dare to attack the US because it would mean MAD-ness or Mutually Assured Destruction. This is my favorite song by Loudness. @commonsenseroad SDI means Stragetic Defense Initiative, which was a plan by President Regan to counteract a nuclear missile attack on the USA. That's why SDI's lyrics are about nuclear war.
