Every year December is filled with movies that are gonna be nominated for Oscars, and then every year- I have to wait til January to actually get to see them
And they release the films on digital waaaaay before it comes to theathers, so I end up not seeing those films in theaters. For example, ive watched anora on my laptop on the beggining of december and its only coming to any movie theather near me in the 23rd of January, so why would I wait to see it in theathers when its already available all over the Internet? I think its kinda of a dumb strategy and make them lose a lot of money

I do wonder what the financial repercussions are but I guess it must overall be worth it for them since they keep doing it
