    Never knew she was almost Olive Oyl. I read she was offered the role of Shirley Feeney of Laverne & Shirley but was busy with SNL at the time.

      I hope y’all will reply to this I have the Gilda Live! album wish I could get the movie I liked her as Lisa Loopner and Emily Litella and Roseanne Roseannadana

      @@sherryhannah9262 We will never know how successful L&S would be with Gilda involved, but I feel she would have been good in the role. Penny Marshall was great and as was the rest of the cast. I think the show would have done well with Gilda. She was good with physical comedy.

    I am pretty sure that I have the same "strange illness" of putting on outfits. Too much imagination. But as Gilda says, doing it with LOVE is what breeds true success. Its so sad that Love wasn't enough to keep her alive. As much as Love heals, we are unfortunately still born to die. RIP Gilda our darling girl 💛
