This is the most informative troubleshoot for the location share issue I've seen (location working on iPhone but I can't share my location with a person). You offer several high level things to check/do with quick explanations that are easy to follow. There's so many posts with the obvious things to check, so it's tedious when you actually have a problem to fix.
I had already tried most of the things shown here but you did give me two new things I hadn't tried yet. Well ... I'm sad to report I still haven't found a fix.
It has to be something really obscure but I don't know what else would affect location sharing. I've combed all through permission settings too but maybe I'm missing something? All I know is I've tried everything I can find on this and nothing has worked lol. Arghhhh.

Thanks but Im. Tracking my son’s iPhone from my iPhone and his location hasn’t updated in 4 days. Keeps showing where he was 4 days ago. When I checked his phone it still shows that he’s sharing with me. Any suggestions?

Nope still nothing, I can’t send anyone my location
Mine and my girls has randomly gone off and now wont come back
Reset your location and then please allow all permissions for find my phone and maps
So here is what you do to fix this apart from the steps shown in this video
Go to settings
then click on your Name/ID
then click on Find My
Then click on Find my Phone ( it should say on besides it) click on it again and enable find my phone, find my network, send last location
Especially make sure to enable find my network
Once that is done, go to iPhone maps and allow all permissions, especially the Enhance maps feature
And this will for sure fix your issue!
I got it to work using my Apple Watch being connecting to my phone I sent my location from the watch on text and my phone text app seemed to reset and I seen the notification of my location
help i tried everything and nothing worked

For me find my is grayed out and I have no clue why
The arrow at the share my location at 1:05 is gray.
Yea the reset location and privacy setting worked… I was doing everything else but once I did that it worked… I just had to stop and share my location with the person

It’s telling me my number is not disponible for localisation
None of that worked My fix was setting>cellular>sims or eSIM primary>turn on data roaming *fixed
and the location is turned on
Mine says not available try again later
Nothing works for me tried every single thing 😮
