You can run 25 feet of that max line vertically in 8 foot drops right off the compressor with drains at the bottom of each. That and a drier and you’ll never have water issues
@@OwenBuckingham11 it's a simple timed valve on the bottom of the tank that turns on for a few seconds every so many hours - they are programmable. The water can go onto the floor or you can pipe it somewhere.
The shop I work in has those automatic tank drains and we plumbed them outside. Between the "air boxes" for both compressors and the drain being outside it's really quiet. 180 psi staged compressors, dryer for each, 3/8 & 1/2 connections so nice to not have to wait on air even with all five people using it at the same time.

@@jacobcdumas Pretty sure they are not the kind of channel locks you are thinking of, there are some that adjust to the size and then act like a crescent wrench, not clamping only holding the size. I wanted a nice pair but they were over $100. KNIPEX 7-1/4" PLIERS WRENCH from Matco $98.75
I've always used form ply (that's what we call it in Australia, might be something different in the states) for the bench top. It's bloody amazing. Has built in protection and lasts forever. I usually roundover and then lacquer the edges
Get an automatic drain for your tank, not that expensive and super nice, I would also suggest putting on/off valves right before any ends or quick disconnects, just incase there is something wrong with the fitting, need to change it, or for any reason you do not have to depressurize your whole system. Also have valves right after your air manifold for each line out, if there are any issues, leak, or you are just working on it you can just shut off that section without bringing down the whole system. Sum of my story, put valves everywhere lol helps when there are issues or during upgrades.

I have a one car garage that I really maxed out the capabilities and use of space and I started a mobile repair business on the books until I can afford a shop to rent or possibly build my own. this has become my favorite channel over the past few months I love how it feels like Taylor is talking to us like one of his buddies there helping him at the shop it makes it so much more enjoyable to watch, keep doing your thing brother!!!
In another woodworking channel I watch they mentioned one time about mixing the pva glue with water to thin it, and applying it to the edges of mdf to seal it and stop it from soaking paint. After watching this I might have to give it a try on my mobile bench.
It will still work just not as great. Obviously the farther away the more chance moisture has to condense so the dryer can catch it. Mine is at the end where I attach the tool hose.
