When you spod over a zig depending on how sloppy the mix is will send signals through the column which your zig is in adding slow sinking particle too the cloud will create a competitive feeding situation especially in a highly stocked lake like Ladywood which means the fish will be coming in smashing the bits and pieces all while your zig is sitting in amongst it. Problem is its a funny time of year atm and even getting the fish to feed is hardwork

Come to Manor Farm lakes near Biggleswade. Bit of a journey but most lakes will guarantee a 20 and everyone you fish has 30's in. Great vlog again. Keep it up 👌
I agree about spodding over zigs, I don't see the point really. I think the secret with them is if you have a fish on 1, then change all rods to zigs and stick with the method but most people just aren't confident enough with them to do it

Interesting that one. I have a mate who swears by sharpening them. Not sure on the losing the fish part. The only thing I’ve noticed with sharpened hooks is they’re only good for 1 bite. Usually after that first bite the hook point is done. Where as the nash ones we use you can easy use for multiple carp.

their some long ass rigs on the lead clips take a while for the hook to set because its that far from the lead
Tbf I originally made that rig a little longer for heli system but it’s no leaders so quickly changed it up to lead clip…
