@@FreshFishing st leonards back lake . Booked it all to myself for the week 🙌 haha. 120lb +cats in there and upto 40lb carp . So should be a experience haha. Glad you mentioned the tobacco shop thing I'm finding one now to bookmark on maps for the journey haha

Great film lads, quality filming and editing, starting to looks like pros. Looking to fish in France next year october time what are the temps like and the day light hours, only been in May before, cheers
Hi Guy, cheers for the comment. Temp was lovely mate between 18-20 and the daylight hours are good it’s 12 light and 12 dark
Looking to go here in 2024. Would you recommend or look else where? Being plagued with tiny carp isn't my idea of French fishing 😮

Watching first episode and realised that I was out in France at exactly the same time as youz. Left on the 1st Oct on the 0750 train. Then only 178 miles to the lake unlike your journey.

The lake is called Utopia. Went out with my son and a mate and his son. Had 7 up to 44lb lost 4. Lake record went to mates son 67.3. Should be back next year as you keep your week.

@@FreshFishing nice,theres a town with supermarket etc only a 5 min drive away so very local to the lake
@@jamesbray4646 perfect because at Villefond the proper supermarkets were a bit of a drive. What was the biggest you caught there?
Think the biggest i had was a 33lb mirror but theres a common that goes 50lb and a fair few 40’s,the lake record catfish is over 102lb but pretty much all the swims have good features to go at
Cheers boys. Thanks for the video, what were the final scores on the doors for everyone ? I've watched the 3 sections now and thanks for the info, I don't think the lake is for me, its too far and too hard a lake, but each to their own 👍
Wayne 3 and Foxy 2. In total we had 8 carp between the group. Very tough session mate. We’re head back to France but to a different lake.

Hey mate yeah no worries so it’s 3 parts and yeah week between them. We’ve slung them in a playlist so once they’re all out you can just watch the playlist and they’ll play right through like 1 film 🎥

Just 1 in the end pal? Was very hard when we visited too as you can see in our vid.
@@FreshFishingI only had 1 carp other lads I went with had 45 carp and 25 carp 35 carp as 2 lads had 6 pounders so wasn't happy as speicamin pool there is wel too many small fish but that's my opinion tricky lake was never showing or even just on top cudnt see them at all ❤

Most like to net when water temp is lower than 8 and stable....in all fairness this is done late Dec early Jan here, always worth looking into the silly things that can be annoying......can't knock a healthy lake with that years carplets, obviously no catfish so that's a plus 👍

Wow. Lt me just say the lad who had the linear really can't handle fish.. Why he was chucking it up to get a hold of it is beyond me.. And the 1st one he had just left it flapping in the cradle.. Not good boys at all
J is still learning but you’re right shouldn’t have let the carp flap around in the cradle.
