Speaking from vast farm experience…. That bearing is going to last exactly until the moment it doesn’t!
When I worked as a mechanic for some farm equipment repair company I see stuff come in with bearings that just had the outer and inner shell, balls worn down to dust. And they never ever made a weird noise or anything, they just all of a sudden broke :P
I'm in agreement Mike
Hear hear
Yep..
They’ll work just fine…till you’re stuck in the worst place ever
What a blessing to see family helping each other, time to get shocked by a small motor on Gramps irrigation system, fix the tractors PTO and paid generously for the effort with eggs. That made me think about my youth, growing up in a farming community and longing for those simple times. God bless.
Not only that ....grandpa gave Michelle to Paul in pre-payment...a gift that keeps on giving !!
ME AS WELL...2 COWS (I MILKED EVERY MORNING @ 6 My cat Snowball was always there to get her shots) all by hand...2 Pigs made bacon for Farmer John on Western Av in East LA...& 1,000 layers grain fed...we had best eggs in Ontario...hand candled!!! 1 Block West of Euclid is Fern...PROPERTY IS BURIED UNDER WEST BOUND LANES OF THE 60 POMONA FRY...& YES...I MISS THOSE WONDERFUL DAYS...CALVING OCCURED & I FED THEM...FUN...CALVES ARE GREAT TO HUG AND BUT HEADS WITH!!! THOSE I MISS THE MOST...& SNOWBALL...
Been on the wrong end of an ignition coil myself before. I felt that.
Not sure about those bearings?????
AFTER HE GREASED IT...THOSE TEETH MESHED AND IT ROLLED AGAIN...ANYTHING THAT MOVES MUST BE OILED...THE BIGGER IT GETS THE THICKER THE OIL...
I love the fab rats lifestyle… Hard work, family, and fun!
When Paul said " are you laughing at me?" I was laughing and lost my coffee all over my keyboard. Thanks Paul! Totally worth it!
If it was me filming i would have been on the ground dieing.
laughing my but off and oh how I know that feeling
RIP keyboard... 🙁
😁
@@ralphduncan8054 Haven't seen those things around for quite some time, here...
Too many of the guys like you who gained popularity on youtube have fallen to the temptations of bigger better and more like Overhaulin or Gas idiot Garage. Don't change Paul, your channel is interesting and awesome the way it is.
I agree
Yeah that’s why I don’t want him to go anywhere near cleetus
@@stubbingtonmarigold3032 I don't know why you would lump Cletus in with overhauling or GMG. They sold out to discovery. Cleetus is doing his own thing his way. He's got a hell of a lot more bills to pay to do it now but he's still pretty much the same goofy good time guy. He just has a more serious race program and fleet now.
pretty sure Paul & Michelle love being their own boss .. and will not sell their souls to a cable channel
…“have fallen to the temptations of bigger, better…”
Rue the day.
Great to see you helping Grandpa out. That's what family is about.
That is a beautiful stain glass FAB RATS. I was wearing my olive drab green hoody at the store & a woman came up & said her husband & 13 year old son loves your FAB RATS channel. She asked wear i got my hoody from she wants to get a shirt for her husband & son. Told her if she could wait 20 minutes cause I was done shopping & she still had some more to do . Came home got my order form & gave it to her .I crossed off my info told her Michelle was very professional & she want have a problem. Thank goodness I gave it to her because she was talking getting a couple coffee mugs. Told her the story thats the bad website because you don't sell coffee mugs! See i listen to you Michelle in your videos
Grandpa cruising by on his tractor cool as can be. Awesome!
That stained glass is awesome 👌
My pop in law passed away a couple years ago. Still miss that man, good on ya Paul, this one brings me smiles.
Grandpa Dellis' (Sp?) laugh reminded me of my fathers! It's been nearly a decade since he passed, but your dad's laugh and side look instantly brought back a flood of great memories. Thank you very much for the work you all do and putting the wonderful people you have surrounding you here where we can all share in your lives. :)
Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Don’t forget that Premier Power welder in the Yota! You can use it at the shop too. Great for running grinders when the power is out!
I have no reason to own one, but want one bad.
@@alanellsworth5961 I have one on each of my Defenders. I don’t use them often, but they can be life savers.
I need to search back through the videos and find when he installed that!
It’s always good to help out family.👍
That was so cool helping grandpa 👴 and Paul your arm will be ok 👍
That's what it's all about helping out family 👍👍👍🇺🇲🔥
Great job Paul helping the in-laws....editing top notch Michelle
Farm’s say if it ain’t broke Don’t fix it.
I grow up on farm i still live on the property we haven’t framed since 2000 . We a had tobacco crop some Cows horses . Enjoy your day today. Looking forward too the next one. ✅
Love the stain glass your fans are amazing. You can protect it by making a wood frame and put panes of glass on both sides easier to clean protects it from the elements. Love seeing more of your family and Michelle’s homeplace such a beautiful place.
I've had the local glass shops make up a triple pane, with the stained glass in the sandwich (just gotta drill a small hole, to equalize pressure), for many clients, works well...
polycarbonate on outside. if there is an impact chance
Paul Always helping the family what a great guy.
I have to admit the stained glass is awesome! Always nice to give Grandpa a hand. Always a pleasure to meet more family.
I have 4 sons and none are as good to me as you are too you’re father-in-law! Very lucky guy! Not to mention! I just love Paul’s mum! She has kindness written on her face!
Honestly love how you guys are always there for each other. My wife's family is a lot like that and it's great being able to be a part of that kind of family.

@@bruceleealmighty hey man thanks, I appreciate the looking out. I know it’s a scam. I’m a software engineer (not for TH-cam or google) and my friends and I are discussing the best way to deal with it. Reporting it seems too easy.
@@jasondemuro6882 It's about the numbers. It's primarily a bot monitor.
I'll take this type of video any time. Thanks.
Paul you and Michelle have got the coolest family ever I’m jealous
Fun watching.
Nothing like helping family that love and appreciate one another!!!
Thank you for letting us be a part of your family for a few minutes I enjoy watching , you seem like such good people , its just me and my dog here anymore so your videos put a smile on my face and I thank you .
It really makes me forget all about this complicated world we live in now, when I see how you folks take care of the REAL important things in life. Reminds me so much of every one I knew, growing up here in rural Oregon. Thanks guys! Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
Eastern Oregon? I grew up in La Grande
OMGOSH!!!!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL POND!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Michelle, your dad is awesome!!
Michelle's brother seems pretty handy - but I think he needs a FabRats hat.... Thanks for the video - neat to see the little stuff being worked on too. The stained glass is really cool - she might get some business from this!

OMG does this brings back memories......... when i was small!!!. People would come far and wide for my grandfather to fix things for them. And back then people had money but very little,....... Grandpa got paid in chickens, turkeys, cows, well calves, colts, geese, goats, fresh milk, cheese, cream, oats, corn, hay, so so many fruit jellies and spreads, cakes, pies oh the lists goes on.. I miss them days my grandfather and grandmother taught me so much... And like you Paul and Family i carry that tradition on,.. especially abroad. Their dreams are my designs.
Great job on the weld repair! Maybe check the spokes on the wheels. looks like at least one needs some welding.
I was wondering why he did not weld while he had the welder connected. Details, it is all in the small details.
@@JD-iu3vi Maybe he did not see it from his position, but then again the camera-guy should have seen it....
The spokes are threaded on both ends, and most of the time a few broken or bent ones will cause no harm to the wheel line
Keep on Rockin, Grandpa Dellas ! Timbo !
Well done for getting him set right, seems a lovely chap.
Counting on family who deliver is Godliness. Michelle’s father is a cool guy. The skills of all these people are amazing. And, I’m sure Paul licks his fingers before grabbing spark plug wires, because it helps him when the power is out in the shop.
Wow that just brought me back. My grandpa was a hay farmer, I loved going and working with him. And working on the tractors was an everyday thing. Great video.
Always happy to see that 4-H logo!
I love seeing y'all taking care of the family! These are memories y'all will be reminding the boys of and how easy they really have it compared to the generation before them

Great folks ,real recognizes real. That's why this channel grows so fast. God bless
Good job, you should have welded the one spoke while you had the welder out. LOL
Safety glasses Paul safety glasses. I would give anything to have grown up and that area. You’re a blessed man with a blessed family.
As a hobby farmer with around 50 acres of my own i approve of the pto fix and will warranty it until it breaks.
Farmers are the backbone of America 👍💗😀
I was waiting for you to tack that spoke back on. You're killing me Smalls.
@4:00 The ol' safety squint lol.
Great show, nice family and friends. Stained glass is so awesome.
family helping family the way it should be love it
Had a few engines without kill switches, a zip tie on the coil wire makes it much more friendly to pull!
could also bolt a piece of tin strip onto a headbolt bend it so it will have a gap on the plug then push the tin down to the plug when you want the engine to stop just push hard if you let up you might get a zap ..
Great idea.
@@devilselbow as a kid I started working on mowers .. and if I pushed down on the metal tab but not hard enough to hit the spark plug. I would get zapped.. learned real quick too push and hold..
My dad was a fabricator- welder and grand dad had a dairy farm. That life style gives you so many skills and disciplines to bank on later in life. I would know. Recently retired from the structural and industrial fab world.
Pauls little oh s---ts makes me giggle every time because I have those been there done that moments.
Some of my best moments in life are helping family & friends. Awesome channel Paul. Thank you for sharing 💛 🇺🇸

Your dad’s absolutely precious
Laughed when ya got shocked. My dad used to check for spark by arcing from the tip of his finger.! Hope you welded that wheel while you were at it!
We have some talented artist here in Pensacola
You gotta love guys like grandpa Dellas, another great episode!!
Helping family is the best
You could put that stained glass in a light box (probably make one to fit) and then you can hang it anywhere and it will light up and look amazing!
I say 100 hrs max on bearing.
Paul and Michelle's family in every direction are a true blessing to our world.
Everyone works hard , enjoys life , and spreads happiness and joy.
I can't begin to express how proud I am of them. I always look forward to watching their family live and grow. I really wish they were my neighbors.
Someday soon I really hope to meet them in person . I'd even just dive in and help them in anything .
God bless them all !
On the small engine spark, I learned long ago to carry a screw driver with me. :)
You caught me, and was laughing out in the Aussie Out back, had me own share of heart starters, am 80 now but a lot more carefull , love your work, Glen
Randell wasn't the only one laughing when you asked that. :)
Good morning everyone
And a good one to you sir!
Great video. Michelle your Dad raised a smart, pleasant pretty young woman. Farmers daughters are always top notch. Hang on to her Paul. Have a good one.
Keeping the family going
That's what it about thank you
With a shop the size of Paul's I am amazed at how much time you guys spend working of the floor of the shop. :)
I was thinking the same thing, but I realized that the benches are probably stacked up with parts.
@@donlarsen9807
As someone that suffers from flat surface syndrome, I agree.
That's what I was thinking too. Paul, you need Lando to weld you up a 20-foot long workbench!
Stained glass picture was an awesome gift that thing definitely needs to be showcased somewhere
Paul is a good son-in-law for helping Michelle's Dad with the farm equipment. Hard times when you have no power because you get spoiled when you have it. 😊

Ha the infamous sparkplug shocker got me a bunch of times too, great to see family helping each other you're a smart guy Paul helping Michelle's Dad no sleeping with the dog lol, cool glass piece love you guy's God bless ❤😉👍
Beautiful stain glass
Love family, something I never really had. So good to see.
The glass panel needs a light box hanging on the office wall.
You have family and friends that visit and you help each other, I am envious, brilliant
As i have heard normal tight is 2 ugga-dugga's. Farmer tight is somewhere around 4-6 ugga-duggas or close to broken bolts. Grade 8's help because they can handle most farmer tight.
Hey I know Jason! I guess that means about twenty years ago I spent the night in Michelle’s dads field one night while turkey hunting. It’s a small world!
It's pretty awesome you are able to have both the time and ability to help out family like that. Looked like a nice day to be out working on some farm equipment :D
Loving from Loxton South Australia
Great episode as always, love the channel! I love the variety of things you show, and the whole family involvement is awesome! 👍
Now this is a real family that’s there for each other. I love it. God bless them all. 👍👍🌟🌟❤️❤️
All the cool builds and repairs, but I really enjoy the family aspect. You guys are amazing. Much love
ALL of You Folks are fun and interesting to watch. The Best aspect is
how Y'All 'run' your Family Business, teaching and instilling a Real Work Ethic
in Your Children (young 'uns).
OMG 😲 I lost it when be jumps , I work with 2 strokes engines and I've been shocked a few times I know what it feels like 👍. keep the hard work !
You just got to love a grandparent, no matter what! 😉😉😉
I wish my mom ran a burger shack, but she can't even bake a cake. Paul's really got it made 😂🙌🙌
I love that whole family thing. The best show. Thanks
I remember freshman autos class in highschool rebuilding small engines, mine and my buddies kill switch didn’t work and it was stuck open throttle. He tried pulling that cable about 10 times before he finally gave up😂
I love the Fj and it’s welding capabilities. You guys are a great example of how people should act and live on a daily basis.
The bearing on the jd will run a long time as long it's got oil, great video and great job with the repairs
With real people it always comes back to farming. Way to go, guys.
With the window you should have it framed and have some LED lights put behind it as a hanging piece
perspex over the front to stop damage :)
good morning folks
When are you going show the previous owner the FJ?
Billy! Been hoping to see him again, especially with the FJ 'done'.
I love seeing family working together, just because...
This is the type of "Mechanicin" I like to see. It gets me motivated to go fix my junk.
Great work guys, Michelle you're looking as beautiful as ever. It's nice to see people that are willing to help out family when they can, that is getting harder and harder to find anymore....
Love the stained glass window it will look awesome in the office....... 👍👍👍
What a clutch of characters. Keep ‘em coming.
I think someone needs a Generac back up generator for when the power goes out.💪
Yep, that's my job on the ranch, fixing stuff that was built before 1950, and last greased around 1951.
All in the family! This was a great video!
That bearing will work til it won’t.
Some sanity in a world full of crazy. Thanks for being out there for the rest of us.
Randall, why don't you put the camera behind a welding lens one of these times and let the viewers watch all weld. Watch him move those puddles of steel.
