Im thinking absolutely the same!! In my eyes...this was the pinnacle for this voice! Of course they are still awesome. But the rawness in Tim's voice in this video is amazing..
@@lolfacexpx6439 without Bad Religion*. Rise Against are really popular, but they have not really been influential to any band in the mainstream. Bad Religion paved the way for Nirvana, The Offspring, Green Day, blink-182, Rise Against.
To be able to scream this song, I feel like this is the ultimate break up song. And this live version you get the feeling this was directed at someone.
it's not him getting worse... he may have had a bad day or whatever on that other performance... lots of factors can affect your voice as you may already know
What most people dont know is that when you constantly play shows, youre voice isnt going to be perfect everyday. Especially when the music is punk rock. Thats stuff istn easy to sing. Tim's voice was probably great the day before, but wasnt so great the next day because his voice was worn out.
Punk isn’t so much about vocals, in my opinion. More about the music all together, the rhythm. I loved Tim’s voice in this. Sadly it’s not what it used to be nowadays
Finally seeing them this summer after 15years of them being my favourite band
Still here in December 19th 2023. Merry Christmas.
I wish they still tried this hard live
This brings me right back to 14 years old. I got chills right when he started singing. Ah to be young again 😔
Yeah... that baseline, that emotion. I can feel high school with this one.
Same 😢

2001-2006 his best voice.
The rage and passion man.. you can feel it..and relate.
Thanks god that tim bought a guitar and not a snowboard :D
definitely without rise against, 21st century music would not be the same

*hit the books, not the pipe. He's a killer songwriter
This song very accurately describes heart break
Singing with raw FUCKING passion
I remember the first time I heard this song.. I was blown away by Tim's voice and I still am to this day.
Rise Against forever :)
To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable! - Beethoven
Seeing these guys for the 5th time in Novemeber! Great Live band!
Still one of their best songs. Sends shivers down my spine every time.
amazing vocals by Tim. Screaming till the end of the song, really amazing...

Best RA song of all times. Right up there with Black Masks. Also best recorded live performance of RA. Love the rawness. Miss Chris Chasse.

My favorite song from band.

his voice was so fucking awesome :(
Fucking incredible performance
Maybe he will be at olympics game if he bought a snowboard..but i prefer rise against :P
I regret the fact that I loved this band for over a decade and have yet to see them perform
You are missing out. They've been my favorite since 2003. And I've seen em around 80 times live since then.
If you ever do, just prepare to not hear correctly for at least the following 72 hours.
@@richardszczesny3431i dont know man, its a shame Tim cant fry scream any more. Takes away the style… they play sick though.
Seen them when they only had revolutions per minute and the unraveling out. It was $2. I still have the ticket lol
@@Jrk_1986 imagine paying $2 to hear them at their best. Lucky bastard
2:40 sooo cold

darkvirus37 he did pretty good for live. His vocal range hit at least 90% of the album version

This is his best live performance of this song though. My favorite from the band.
memeo
Good ol' Canadian boys
Josh Timmons they’re not Canadian
so glad his hair is not like that anymore
Sounds like something is off key here but i can’t pinpoint it but just sounds really off
I guess you mean the audio mix aint great here, so maybe that!!
