Nice to see your K has been restored to original. I had a 1952 K model back in the 1960's. They are very rare, and even back then had problems finding parts. I rebuilt my K from a basket case. The K is historically significant as it was the first unit construction HD powerplant (except for the Hummer). It eventually evolved into the Sportster in 1957 when they converted to overhead valves

I,m not coming down on you just stating my opinion. I own a 07 Sportster Custom and it's nice to see the heritage where it came from still out on the roads.

little "K" thumps pretty good.never noticed before but the rear shock absorbers look just like the ones on "58" and up big twins. sweet little bike

Beautiful yes but I wouldn't go that far.
Only problem is if you ever have to go in to the transmission you have to split the cases as they did not put a trap door in till 1954. Great bike!
