Hi... My wrist circumference is abt 7.5" so is 2 x 3.5 ft the circumference of the band + the watch or the band only? Should I go for 2 x 4 ft or do I stick to 2 x 3.5? I'm really new at this so... Yeah... Would really appreciate the help... Thank you...

First step, learn the carrot bend. Then lay down on your bed, take deep breaths and calm yourself. The next day, complete the knot after studying tutorials from three different paracordists. Oh yes I know it is Carricks bend.

I have a specific tutorial for the diamond knot on my channel in case you still need it.
good work, i’ve got the green dial version but rarely wore it as it looked to small on my wrist, with this strap it looks right as it is now a paracord bracelet with the added extra of a watch, if that makes sense, i just tied a normal knot at the end so i can undo it for adjustment without pulling the whole thing apart , and by wrapping the cord round the spring bars twice it hides them and with less chance of bending them under tension👍👍

I have been trying to do a strap that is more like a NATO band where the watch can only fall off if both spring bars fail with a Mad Max closure with no luck. That is my recommendation.

I got mine at Canadian Tire which is just a hardware store, but you can find them on Amazon too.

You can probably find a really cheap replacement on eBay or Amazon for your spring bars.

Can you please create a NATO Strap version? I see a lot of so called survival NATO style para-cord based watches online for sale. From what I can see it's simply couple of para-cords running parallel under the watch.
I have a NATO strap in mind, but it might be very different from what you've seen. I will do one in the future.
