i've been back & forth to a bunch of other youtubers doing "tutorials" and i LOVE how you don't clutter your videos with talking. thank you for keeping it simple. great post btw!

Great video. When I got done with the watch band I made a bracelet for giggles. I did this for a plastic Casio watch, needed to grind out quite a bit between the lugs using a Dremel and even at that I could only get three strands behind the pins but it doesn't seem like a problem. Excellent instruction and very good music which made the inevitable rewatchings no problemo. Liked and subbed.
If you started at the watch and tied toward both buckles you could change the battery more easily. Nice work, a good choice as that knot is soft and flexible.
Greg Stewart To change the battery all he has to do is remove one of the pins. The strap will keep its shape after it's worn for a few days. The idea here is to have one continuous length of paracord if needed. Another benefit of doing it this way is if one of the pins breaks while it's being worn, the watch and strap will stay attached to your wrist. If it's 2 separate bands and a pin breaks the watch falls to the ground, possibly cracking the crystal or damaging the case. It's being done like this intentionally. True your way is easier to change the battery, but it's only about 20-30 seconds faster.
Awesome, I’ve been trying to think of a way to craft a bracelet for a sport watch with a broken rubber/plastic/crappy band. Thanks for sharing your technique.
Watched the video couple times and made it...cut a lot out of the Casio like mentioned previously. Easy to follow and looked great. Thanks for the detail PC101. Todd - Of mention in description, Stormdrane is David Hopper, not Dennis.
Geoff Moore Also if it's one continuous length and you need 6 feet of paracord you have it. If it's in 2 separate sections all you have is a couple of 4 foot sections. Also the watch could be damaged if one of the pins breaks and the watch takes a 4 ft trip to the pavement.
How did you make that adjustable base? Been trying to see how I make one for the bracelets that don't use clips so that I can have the ends held tight but at a closer distance
Really nice video, but you could show how make it without your holder. I made this splice with few problems because of lack of tips. I had to combined a lot but finally my watch looks great. Thanks
I like how u did this but i wanted to do this with my ka-bar knife sheath so that i can wrap it around my leg and it doesnt have pins that i can take off to attach the strap to ,and is there any other way i could do it?
Hi, i am from south america, it has been impossible to get these implements, even on internet, you know what i mean, onlne store. Could you help me please.
How many inches did you set the jig for? Telling us you just measured your wrist and go from that is not good enough. It seems to me that the length will also affect how you measure out the starting run of three strands. A LITTLE bit of talk and explanation would be nice.
The instructions I had told me to thread the cord under the pins of the watch...... next time I will use your trick and remove the pins first, haha. Thankfully everything worked just fine, but your way looks a lot simpler to accomplish:-).
Hi! I really liked this instructions. Out of curiosity, do you have any instructions on how to make the bracelet you show at the end of the video? the one that is blue and yellow?? Thanks in advance.
Hi, is it possible to put survival gear in this band? And possibly weave in a compass and thermometer designed to slide on regular watchbands? Great project, thanks for sharing.
How would I make it into 2 colors? Is it possible or would it just make 2 cords? Can you get Paracord with 2 colors?... I'm very new to all this - but I have to say... I really like to but a watch and make a Paracord bracelet for it.
Nice job on video. Would you recommend (as some book do) to first wet the paracord and hang to dry to allow for shrinkage before doing this kind of work?
You must have practiced a lot because I just did this for my first time and it came out sloppy. Your icon picture in the beginning looks amazing! I'll just have to do it all again. Then again. Then maybe one more time. I did notice that this cord has directions on it. Like as you wrap one string around another, you can tell it wants to tangle sometimes or it wants to go in that direction. I think with a little more string taught it could look nicer.
Yes , I do practice and I have made thousands of paracord bracelets. So, I hope I know what I am doing. Thanks for watching! The longer the cord is, the more likely it will tangle. It is a part of paracording.
I have a question: if I wanted to sell paracord bracelets of different designs in a craft store or at a public event, are there legal limitations I'd have to follow for that?
+Mugly Mae The proper etiquette is to site the designer by first, last name and where the design can be located. Feel free to use my designs if you choose to make and sell them as long as you follow the proper etiquette.

Thanks!! Just finished making my first one using some smaller 330 paracord. Simple and not terribly long to do. Thanks again!
Watched the video couple times and made it.... Casio Gshock Rangeman Easy to follow and looked great !!! Thanks for the detail PC101.

You can change the battery! Simply remove the pins and the strap will keep its shape.

I like the looks of this band, but have to gut the cord on most digital watches. Very happy with this one, It's a keeper.

+sgtshedd Thanks. I will make the change.
Just rescued an old watch I loved with this thanks!!
Glad I found your vid your instructions are simple and concise, now i can paracord my watch. Thumbs up and subscribed .
Qué cantidad de cuerda has utilizado?gracias
thank you. my first go at this and following your video made a great watch strap.
Its hard to tell in the beggining if this is all one continuous strand or 2 seperate ones. It would be nice if the whole jig was in the frame
What do think about gutting the section of paracord directly behind the watch? I'm thinking of trying this to reduce the thickness.
Wouldn't that make it weak?
You could make 2 of these but shorter, connecting them to the spring pins rather than the clasp
And if you lose one pin the watch will stay on the band, handy in water so watch doesn't sink to the bottom.
Geoff Moore Also if it's one continuous length and you need 6 feet of paracord you have it. If it's in 2 separate sections all you have is a couple of 4 foot sections. Also the watch could be damaged if one of the pins breaks and the watch takes a 4 ft trip to the pavement.
How do you size the watch. says 10 feet plus 2 inches for comfort but how to i size that to my wrist?
Does anybody know were there is a drawing or instructions for the 2x4 jig used in the video?
Where did you get those scissors, and do you have any videos about helpful tools for paracord projects?
Very nice. I was planning on buying one of these, but you have shown that I can save the cash and make my own.
How did you make that adjustable base? Been trying to see how I make one for the bracelets that don't use clips so that I can have the ends held tight but at a closer distance
Very well done. The music is excellent also.
Really nice video, but you could show how make it without your holder. I made this splice with few problems because of lack of tips. I had to combined a lot but finally my watch looks great. Thanks
How change the battery ?😯
What happened at 5:25???
You may need to remove several core strands in the core. Some watches are too small for this design.
Where do you get watch face from
Coole Idee. Nur wie wechselt man die Batterie?
I do love the way you doing it.
very nice work
Thank you so much ,this time my watch it's so cool! 👍👍
loving the watch, going to give it a go.

Cool paracord bracelet
How do you change the battery?
I like the music. Good looking watch band too.

does the paracord strain the spring bars??
Uau! Muito Bom! obrigada por Compartilha!
the measurements for which wrist it is
Looks simple enough. How would 325 paracord work for this? Too thin?

Do you have the dimensions for the jig you are using? Or, possibly have the instructions for making one?
This is a good idea and works great. Thanks for the Video !!!
Como você tira a medida do pulso.
I love this one! I am going to try.
Hi! I really liked this instructions. Out of curiosity, do you have any instructions on how to make the bracelet you show at the end of the video? the one that is blue and yellow?? Thanks in advance.
Paracord estan Geniales tus tejidos; muy pulcros y elegantes!! 👏👏👏 me suscribí gracias por compartir tu arte; realmente bellísimo 😉
cool vid but what if you have a bigger wrist than that or smaller
then use more paracord for a larger wrist and less paracord for a smaller one.
i love bracelets, how can i get materials for making right bracelets
Hi, is it possible to put survival gear in this band? And possibly weave in a compass and thermometer designed to slide on regular watchbands? Great project, thanks for sharing.
Instructive video ! Thank you ! )
What happend to the string that you clipped on the right side the short side in the beginning of the video?
What size of wood. Congratulations on the very good video.
what size is that you used?
I just bought a paracord watch and it's little big for me trying to figure out how to make it smaller any ideas
Thank you, from Brasil!
is it possible to make this with two colours or will only one colour be shown regardless
Nnika Corbin splice the cord for two colors
What is that pinching tool that is used at 2:10?
small forceps
How would I make it into 2 colors? Is it possible or would it just make 2 cords? Can you get Paracord with 2 colors?... I'm very new to all this - but I have to say... I really like to but a watch and make a Paracord bracelet for it.
You would not be able to make this with two colors with this method.
maybe you could melt 2 ends of the desired colors together, and make that the middle. or try to hide it somehow.
ok
Helped alot! Thankyou
Excellent job. how do you know where to stop and place the watch? will definitely try to do one!!!
+Moritz Insupp Since wrist sizes vary and so do watches... you will need to estimate... and possibly redo if needed.
Nice job on video. Would you recommend (as some book do) to first wet the paracord and hang to dry to allow for shrinkage before doing this kind of work?
How many feet of paracord do u need to make it
How far do I separate the 2 buckles while I make it? Like how much space did you put inbetween the 2 buckles?
Is there any place to buy the jig you used to hold everything or is that going to be a DIY thing ? If so is there a place to get plans for it ?
I love it
i am making this for my "out door" watch.
cool but...what about when you need to change the battery? the strands are in the way!
***** You correct. The cords are in the way. However, it is easy to re-make once you've done it.
***** you can remove the pins without changing the bracelet ;)
This is true... Thanks!

Hey for the string, can you use a shoe lase?
Yes, you can. But it will be more flat. I don't know how many other variables may change too.
Paracord 101 hmmm ok

Where di you get that nifty little torch you use in the videos?
+CAphotos Seems to be a jet flam type of lighter. You can find those online cheap or in cigar stores.

Beautiful
Do you sell the watchband making wooden contraption on your website?
I have a question: if I wanted to sell paracord bracelets of different designs in a craft store or at a public event, are there legal limitations I'd have to follow for that?
+Mugly Mae The proper etiquette is to site the designer by first, last name and where the design can be located. Feel free to use my designs if you choose to make and sell them as long as you follow the proper etiquette.
So, for example, a tag attached to each bracelet should read Original Design created by: This Person's Name
As Shown on This Site located on TH-cam?
Greetings!, could you tell me what kind of scissors used or as they are called?????
