    the jacket is not MA-1 but L-2B. MA-1 has a bit different flap pockets and snap button chest pockets inside. And MA-1 was designed to wear in winter season cold area. In Viet-Nam Army, Air Force pilots / crewmen wore only L-2B.

      Thanks for watching and for pointing that out! My Vietnam collecting focus wasn't so much on aviation but I could not resist the opportunity to add this historical jacket to my collection.

      Actually this is an MA-1, and a later version, at that. The first version did not have the orange reversible side. Also this is an Air Force Jacket and as such is not Army issue.

    L2B, not MA-1, check the smaller flaps on the side pockets .

      Thanks! Check inside the pockets for a tag with a DSA or DLA code. DSA-68 would be 1968, etc.
