WD40 is the Chuck Norris of the all-purpose cleaners on this planet. There are ridiculous rumors about it's abilities. NOTHING of that is true! WD40 is good for EVERYTHING which - in FACT - means, it doesn't do ANYTHING.
NEVER spray WD 40 on your shoes. It dissolves the glue holding the upper part to the sole. You'll notice the upper separating from the sole in a week or so.
@hachihack Cause oil lubricates. Oil protects metal and other materials from corrosion. Of course there's different blends of oils. Some are for engines, others for transmissions and brakes. WD40 is a light oil. Great for cleaning any all sorts of things. If you don't like WD40, try baby oil.
