Jimbo it's a old superstion thing give you helmet a scratch without your head in it before you take a header wearing it.
When you get a new helmet. Typically you want to baby it because you spent a good bit of money on it and it looks so good. So instead of worrying about scratches you scratch it and get it over with. That's why my friends and I do it at least.

Dude has mad bike/riding skills for sure, not trying to discredit that at all but am I’m the only one who thinks all of Monsters stuff is over hyped? I mean the fact that this 6 min video has commercials for it during supercross....there are better edits that probable cost a tenth of what this did to produce. Not a fan of the super chopped together videos, way more impressive when/if it had more of a one line and one take kind of flow

Don’t get me wrong music was nice, but for my own personal opinion would have liked to hear the bike a bit more
I don't think you realize how hard it is for them to use bike sounds they have to use Foley (recorded somewhere else and is made there like in a both so no other sounds can be heard) considering they used helicopters that are loud and also being a plan field the wind would be making all the mics get distorted by wind making the helicopters shots and ground shots audio useless. with mixing it with music, This way the shot less sound with a foley artist but use the same sound clip multiple times eg the rev limiter in the whips bit, nearly every big picture or big company videos are not the actual raw sound eg redbulls mountain biking raw videos are not the raw sound a foley makes all the sound and they released the video of them making the sounds its funny too watch it too th-cam.com/video/8PVOWhp3Kyg/w-d-xo.html. That why in movies some time its a four stroke sound instead of a 2T sound it harder for them and is more expensive, Raw video a lot of times isn't the real Raw sound
