And for what it's worth, to the people complaining about the tones not being "legendary," I think the point was that these are based on legendary guitar players/tones, not that these particular presets are necessarily legendary. They can be used as a good jumping off point, however. Once you download them you can edit and save them as you like.

you have one hell of a fine taste in guitars dude. the black lester custom and the blue prs silver sky would make me a very happy man and i wouldnt need any other guitar ever again......well maybe a tele......or a 335 but nothing else...........i dont think....

@@DaniloVicari can you please do us all a favor and upload the tones you created here to tonecloud? I just got the amp and every crunch/ gain or metal tone even from the tonecloud sounds very bass heavy and muffled. Can't tell any notes apart so I don't know how you got the sounds you did. Help
@@allboutthemojo For what it's worth I watched a review of this amp on another channel and the guy said the amp is saturated with too much bass and his fix was to just reduce it to near zero. Maybe that helps.
I bought one of these amps, from a friend of mine who is a Nashville recording artist (Justin Johnson), and I love it. Some people said it gave too much bass. I use the included EQ, and that fixes that. LOVE the tone cloud! Also love the 4 presets I can set on the box itself once I hit the perfect tone. I also love the "search for songs" feature - I play along with many famous artists with the videos, and the visual chord progressions that go along with it are amazing! I have played so much more using this amp. Worth every penny.
Incredible tones! My Spark mini turned up today and it's insane.
On a side note, signatures, stickers, etc on guitars isn't a bad thing...but when I see either on a Les Paul, I cry a little inside :D
it´s funny because I put some little stikers on mine today... those that come with some fruits. I bought that guitar by chance, and it is too black for me...
Am I the only one that finds it ironic that the SPARK is sitting atop a powered down, Holiest of all KEMPER that costs thousands with NO cab. And the spark is like $300 bucks and emulates virtually everything? Not knocking the Kemper, but I'm sure the folks at Positive Grid are eating it up!
main problem being that the spark 40 is absolute junk, i got one thinking it'd be the be all and end all, it's the lamest bit of kit i ever made the mistake of buying

@@jerryscary2602 the sound is thin and lame, the controls are minimal on the actual amp, connecting to anything by bluetooth , phone or ipad etc, takes time. it's just naff. i used it a couple times with backing tracks via the app but other than that I lent it to someone and didn't bother getting it back. save your cash

Well lessee, I'm listening to the demo on my Vox Adio Bass amp and other than metal all of which sounds muddy to my ears anyway, the Spark doesn't sound that bad- junky construction maybe?
I’ve had my Spark since February. It’s this cool. Honestly, I have the Boss Katana mini air and I still play through that amp more than the Spark because of the wireless wake up feature and the portability. If the Spark had a wake up wireless transceiver and could be battery powered, I’d ONLY play through it. It’s louder. It’s deeper. The tones are just as good if not better and it has all of those pre-set tones that sound pretty damn close to what they’re emulating. So glad I jumped on the pre-order of this amp. Nobody is paying me to say this. If you ordered one and haven’t received it yet, be patient. It’s worth the wait. You’re going to have a smart amp unlike anything you’ve ever played through before. If you just can’t wait, get a Boss Katana mini air. Still my favorite jam out practice smart amp.
I've had the Spark since 2020 & just pre-ordered the Spark Mini (March 2022). It has many of the same features as the full size Spark, but is battery powered (up to 8 hrs), weighs 3lbs & is only 7x6x5 inches. Not sure about wireless wake up (probably not as I believe it will be Bluetooth only). Needed something a little more portable so there would be NO excuse not to practice!

I am buying one I love my Marshall Code but you can put a Bass through this as well - Bass players love it as well
I finally got mine yesterday. Wife bought it for my Christmas present around the third week of Nov. 2019. It is very impressive, worth the wait and I have not really scratched the surface yet. Iv tried all the features and was blown away! The sound and projection of this amp is amazing. Two things Id like to see down the line. Someway to battery power it with recharge capability and a built in wireless system for the guitar input.
Gregg Carey got mine couple of days ago it really is a versatile practice amp brilliant in fact like yourself I would like it to be re chargeable battery for even more portability but maybe that’s just nit picking
Have any of you guys been able to get your spark amp to sound like what we're hearing here ? Because I haven't, I wonder if he's running through a mixer, because I'm not getting these kind of tones on this amp right out of the box, still tweaking

@@phenixreturns It's very weird. in fact a musician youtuber said that several factory presets are bad and you have to change them so that they sound as close to the original as possible.in fact the Jimi Hendrix package (the new one) is all misconfigured and you sound anything but Jimi and they made that very clear (still being sponsored by the amp lol)It is the most real review I have seen about amplifier and also says bad things about it and good things (from an objective and analytical point of view). So yeah, don't expect the patches to sound the same as the record, because you'll get one disappointment and more with the packages that cost you lol

Yes!!! The ability to get these tones are the reason I ordered mine in January. Another 3 more months and I’ll be able to enjoy it!!!!

Now that was a great example of how this amp is SO much more than a 'practice amp', as Spark and many TH-cam channels refer to if (though understandable since it includes all the software extras for learning, jamming and practicing)....it's literally an all in one roomful of amps for RECORDING with pro results! Great job and kudos. Now I'm very interested as a former Kemper owner myself how it compares soundwise to you... Super stoked to get mine!

I bought a Spark and liked it so much I bought another. They were going for $200 new on ebay. How does the Spark compare to the Kemper?

Ordered mine Nov.29..Got it yesterday...( WORTH )the Wait..Couldn't quit playing..It also does Acoustic guitar well .And used it working in the garage today-using the AUX.to play WMA's from my mp-3 player..It's a good sounding Boom Box too..

@@kevinleighton7255 that's interesting. Most youtube videos of the sparks don't sound very good so its steers me away. But then I think well what are they using to record the video with and what not . I'm sure it sounds better in person. This video obviously has some seriously good recording.

When you played Joe Bonamassa I realized that this is the way I wanna play. Untill that moment I didn't even know that this song existed (also not from ZZ Top). So thanks for your inspiration! And now I'm having a difficult time trying to learn Just got paid (babysteps).

I love the oasis/Britpop guitar tone! British amplification and British guitars
I've been playing on it for 6 months (with a very good Les Paul). It's amazing. I have to make an effort to put the guitar down. I have the mini. it's huge. If you pair it with a phone it's unlimited. High quality sound, expressive. Playing subtleties respected. I've had a rockman in the 80's, a Boss ME5, a Vox with a lamp , a pod...etc etc. I played them all with the same guitar. This is above. Not for the scene for sure but there's probably a way to do this too.
I need 10 guitar tones with one guitar I don't have 10 guitars that cost 3,000 each
I was telling my wife, it's hard for a player if you don't know the specific sound you're going for.... might spend a 100 bucks on a pedal that doesn't sound like you thought. I had a tube screamer, really liked the idea of the blues pedal. Bought that, realized they get alot of similar tones.you can find out what you like and what makes the specific effects you enjoy without paying all the money over and over!

I think they are all Preset tones from the Tonecloud. The name of each present appears on the amp in the right of the screen.

Finally got mine yesterday! Order on Black Friday so it was about a 6 months wait. It sounds great and works great as a Bluetooth speaker too! Just wish it was battery powered too..

Some really great legendary tones are those of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, AC DC, Yngwie Malmsteen, Molly Hatchet, Pat Travers, Ted Nugent, Dime Bag Darrel, Don Felder, Joe Walsh, Billy Gibbons, and Nuno Bettencourt.
And on the country music side Danny Gatton, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Johnny Hiland, Brent Mason, Jerry Reed, Roy Clark, Glen Campbell, and Albert Lee.

Very impressive sound replication of great guitar tones. Except that Hendrix tone, not even close! But I think I would get a lot of use out of this amp in the studio. So many great sounds! So many possibilities.

Same here. Ordered mine on December 29th and hasn't even shipped yet. I'm sure that when it arrives it'll be great but this is starting to get really annoying. I guess its partially understandable due to the whole COVID situation.

Could you please show a Ritchie Blackmore, Mark Knopfler and Iron Maiden tones if it is possible in the next video? I am seriously considering buying the amp based on your videos on Spark.
Expect to wait a very long time for it. I ordered in February and have just received an email saying it’s expected (not guaranteed) to arrive in June! There are people who ordered it last year and haven’t received it yet.
The amp itself is very good, especially for the price. They have a really long waiting list but I heard they’re sorting out the issues they had (also coronavirus didn’t help at all). If you don’t mind to wait a couple of months it’s not bad at all

I have absolutely nothing against JB, but I believe in giving credit where it's due. That riff belongs to Billy Gibbons. The song "Just Got Paid" was released in 1972. Gibbons was the creator.
