I am looking forward to away games like WBA because I live in Dudley. Shame I couldn't be in Oxford Saturday night to celebrate, I got home around midnight thanks to delayed train. But I am meeting a load of mates in Oxford next Saturday so I will really celebrate then. Great being the underdogs and what a great game with brilliant atmosphere.
Way back when my old teammates dad used to play for them and he trained me so I’ve always had a soft spot for them. He got runner up multiple times and I’m hoping one day Oxford will return to the prem
@@DS9TREK Agreed about Ferguson but not enough Champion Leagues. Guardiola is a better manager. He won't win 13 PLs like Fergie though. Not after next Spring, after the 116 FFP charges.
I really hope they can make a go of it in the Championship. I spent a bit of time in Oxford years ago, as I had my cousin as a trainee nurse there. I went out with a girl there who was also a nurse, and she volunteered on match days because she said Dean Saunders had the best legs in football. AussieMart. Stoke City.
Q mal por el Bolton lo dije perdio el ascenso directo perdiendo partidos q en el papel eran facil y dejo ir puntos en casa y al final dejo escapar ese ascenso el playof no te garantiza q ganaras asi q oportunidad desaprovechada
Could someone please explain to me why there's a cup lifted in the end ? I understand one team has won a promotion match but does the losing team get a "runner-up" medal ? And it doesn't mean the winning team has won the championship so it doesn't make sense to me...
It made sense when we (Pompey) got a cup, and then I saw Derby lifting a cup and wondered, but now Oxford have got another one - where do they all come from?😜

Buckingham is a gem. I believe he'll stay loyal to Oxford for the long-term, whatever happens.
From mumbai city fc to Oxford united what a story for des Buckingham literally he is a greatest manager of all time 🐐🔥
We'll call him greatest manager once he's won 12 Premier Leagues like Sir Alex Ferguson
