The mind is truly remarkable... I haven't been on this ride in at least 25 years, maybe longer, though I live just minutes away from Disneyland. Yet the sounds from this recording took me right back to sitting in that boat, and I can picture every bit of the ride in my mind's eye, just as it was, as if I'd been at Disneyland yesterday. All those pictures sat in storage on my mind's hard drive, and were instantly accessed again with the prompting of the soundtrack. Amazing.
Max Wray And the flag that talks, and you hear two drops. There is only one drop in Disney World and the talking flag was taken out of the Florida one.
@@tcraiford I do like the bayou, but I enjoy the eeriness of the mermaid scene. However, since WDW's has been basically diminished to nothing at this point - No more mermaids, no more song, no more mist waterfall, no more Davy Jones and Blackbeard monologuing, I'd totally take any sort of update to ours. For Disneyland, what would be super awesome is have the bayou at the beginning like normal, then after the first drop, have the mermaid scene and the dark scarier scene, then go down the second drop and continue as is. That would be a perfect mix.
Retnick I beg to differ! It's 'Bromine' according to this link and as I has tagged above your comment! Unless he's got it totally wrong! Check it out! 😉 th-cam.com/video/QZ-k0clndV0/w-d-xo.html
I remember hearing the "dead men tell no tales" from a distance and when you got up to that part you'd go down that small drop and then to the left you'd see the big pirate ship. Good times when going to Disney wasn't house rent, but just fun
Thank you so much 👏🏻❤️ I was looking for this sound that i listened when i visited the park for the first time 17 years ago and i couldn't find it on Spotify albums! So much memories.
We were in the boat, the whole family riding through the bayou, when I smelled a not so familiar smell. The people sitting right behind me were smoking pot.
I hate the change tryin to be politicaly correct these days is annoying. Pirates were like that in the days but people these days get offended so easily its pathetic
Yeah I know, I wish they’d take Jack Sparrow and the movie references out of the ride entirely, it is much better that way. The movies aren’t even that good anyway!
I see the comments about smelling water and I’m sad now because my sense of smell has been practically nonexistent for a full year now :( I may never get to smell this ride…
You do know that this is California's (Disneyland's) Pirates, and not Florida's (Walt Disney World's)? You have a picture of the Florida attraction, but it's the California audio.
Ethan Cha my first tume on that ride was probably when i was 3-4 haha but the florida version hope ill get to go on the California version in the feature:)
I was so excited for the movies, then I heard they got producer Michael Bay and I lost hope. Then I saw the movies and was extremely disappointed, as I was hoping to experience the same feelings from the movies as I felt on the ride. Once I got over that, I realized the movies were all that bad. The second one is the closest I came to feeling that feeling, and was probably the best of the films.

+dirkbag .com I can smell the musty air, like an old dank stairwell.
This is the Disneyland version audio because of the bayou at the beginning

I prefer the mermaid scene over bayou
@@tgguitarguy I definitely prefer the bayou scene because of the restaurant makes it seem so stinking cool

Who else can smell the water?
+AGENT SOLO I can taste the water mate, tastes so good. Was sick for a week after....dont drink the water.

#bromine baby! 😉 👍
The smell of the water actually comes from a chemical that substitutes chlorine called broncium which is what gives it that interesting smell

The very beggining with the waiting que is my favorite part the memories, the beat, the tiki theme, so amazing
I'll always remember and be fond of that smell, the ride has, I love this ride
I love how you can hear yourself going down the waterfall
I remember hearing the "dead men tell no tales" from a distance and when you got up to that part you'd go down that small drop and then to the left you'd see the big pirate ship. Good times when going to Disney wasn't house rent, but just fun
Thanks for uploading. I love this ride (especially the old version)

I like the old man in the bayou and the singers and other things
this is literally the best ride in all of disney
Playing this with "Rainy Mood" in the background makes for a pretty nice experience, actually...
the bit at 4:54 gives me a sense of lurking whenever i'm in that area
As much as I like the new version, I will always love this!
There's no bayou scene in the WDW version, and there's only one drop, this is the disneyland version

They where getting in character
Looks like they were getting stressed with all the pirates around
@@bigquazz7547 😄😈💀
this makes me so happy omg
I absolutely love these videos. This and Haunted Mansion. How does everyone feel about them removing the auction scene??
I'm so glad they changed the demeaning scene of the auctioning of women to one of goods
I hate the change tryin to be politicaly correct these days is annoying. Pirates were like that in the days but people these days get offended so easily its pathetic
David DeBergh that change nearly kills the ride for me I just hope they don’t change it anymore
@@neiln1700 your right stupid social justice warriors 😡😠😡
David DeBergh I like the new pirate she seems bad ass
Ah yes, the ORIGINAL ride audio!! Before the refurb with Jack Sparrow and movie music during the ship battle.

“Ah but they do tell tales; so says I-“
The overall feeling of being in this ride is incredible
I have never gone on this older version, only on the newer one! Cool to hear the original!
The begging of the flute of the sound track is probably the best part
i have an essential oil that smells exactly like the water
which one? I've been trying to find blends for the office
@@christianlewis8610 its an essential oil called new car by abbey and Sullivan. Ive ordered mine online and it smells exactly like it
Magic Candle Co has Disney candles, essential oils etc. I have Pirates Life and it’s just like the ride.
I see the comments about smelling water and I’m sad now because my sense of smell has been practically nonexistent for a full year now :(
I may never get to smell this ride…
MAN This guy gets good pictures of theses rides!!!!!!!
yeah this is california's because it has the Louisiana bayou part at the beginning
and plus it has the dead men tell no tales with the drop
In a wierd way, this fits to fighting in fallout: new vegas.
If there was more water
Anyone else put their hands up when you heard the boat going down and splashing?
Just played this as i was walking my newborn around the house to get her to fall asleep. Next will be haunted mansion
this is the 1975 version
Did anyone saw the pirate carrying the dishes
Maybe it's just cause I haven't been there in a few years, but I can't remember the smell of the water at all. It kinda makes me sad
Don’t worry just think about it like foggy, humid, a lil cold, and rain kind of all mixed up in one
@@miaaguirre3062 with a hint of pool water
Dead men tell no taaaaales!!! Classic!!!
since the blue bayou is in the ebginning
I miss going to Disney world. :( WAIT!! SOMEONE REMAKE DISNEY WITH A 360 camera!!! i mean maybe if u can.

Dead men tells no tales..tales tales tales

How will anyone feel if the skeletons were replaced by plants from pvz
Lol. Someone will get offended by dead people
I Can Smell the Water
It's funny that they are playing the Disneyland audio but show a picture of the Disney world version
5:07 i wish i could just play that part
The burning tortuga smell is the best
“Walt Disney world facts?” Ok nice good but this audio is for walt disney land
YO HO YO HO, a pirates like for me

Thinking about the happy memories I made at places like these made my suicidal thoughts go away almost immediately
Is this the audio before they added the movie stuff?
Yes

What? Bay had _nothing_ to do with those movies. I think you're confusing pirates with transformers.
What in the blue hell are you talking about, dude???
Is this the real theme song but do they play the movie song of the Pirates of the Carbbeian
No they don't play it, there is some music from the movie in the cave scene.
the theme song is Yo Ho
The movie was based on this ride.
